Historia
Darrow is a Red, a member of the lowest caste in the color-coded society of the future. Like his fellow Reds, he works all day, believing that he and his people are making the surface of Mars livable for future generations. Yet he spends his life willingly, knowing that his blood and sweat will one day result in a better world for his children. But Darrow and his kind have been betrayed. Soon he discovers that humanity reached the surface generations ago. Vast cities and sprawling parks spread across the planet.

A great story. Dark, sad and exciting . Sometimes the writing style was a bit confusing so I read along to help. The characters were all interesting.

90% of this story is just boring
Revisado: 04-13-25
The only reason it got 2 stars was the beginning and the end. The beginning was promising with an interesting premise. The last 2 minutes were good as well. The rest of the story was poorly written, went on and on with same details and plot over and over again. There was no chemistry between the MMC and FMC and they were both very one dimensional. The female narrator was good, but the male narrator had laughable voices for some characters which made it sound like a bad movie with poor acting. I really wanted to like this audible story… but I suffered through it.

An Unexpected great story
Revisado: 04-04-25
Really liked the characters. although the FMC kept making horrible mistakes, I still rooted for her. Other characters had depth and the story moved fast. The narrator was very good. Only issue was she frequently changed words from the written story ( sometimes I read a long) and I felt even though the meaning wasn’t changed, the words were always better in written form.

Historia
I spent five years saving up for a European vacation. But instead of drinking champagne on the beach, I get swept into a war of espionage between the humans and the fey. It turns out, I have a magic power needed to fight an evil fey king. I'm quickly whisked off to an elite spy academy in a hidden realm. There, in the ancient and gothic halls of Avalon Tower, snobbery and brutal competitions are among the oldest traditions.

Never invested in characters
Revisado: 03-30-25
The story had potential , but it never really took off for me. The characters had little depth and very little chemistry between FMC and MMC. Maybe you’ll enjoy this if you just want a mindless, fun read. The 2nd book is supposed to be better. Not sure if it’s worth moving to the next.
I did like the narrator though.

A magical story
Revisado: 03-26-25
I absolutely loved the book. Characters were wonderful and the story pulls you in right from the start and never lets go. Constantly rooting for both Rune and Gideon to be happy throughout the story. I just wish we had more. Sorry to be done with the world and characters.
The narrator was excellent as well!!

On the night Rune’s life changed forever, blood ran in the streets. Now, in the aftermath of a devastating revolution, witches have been diminished from powerful rulers to outcasts ruthlessly hunted due to their waning magic, and Rune must hide what she is. Spending her days pretending to be nothing more than a vapid young socialite, Rune spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who rescues her kind from being purged. When a rescue goes wrong, she decides to throw the witch hunters off her scent and gain the intel she desperately needs by courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe.

Story keeps you reading and narrator is excellent
Revisado: 03-24-25
Loved the story and definitely want to keep going. It’s a wonderful cat and mouse love story. Author does a great job at showing MMC and FMC perspective. Keeps you rooting for both of them. It is definitely YA and there is really no spice. So if you like a spicy book…I wouldn’t recommend.

Historia
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Started off strong, but ending just meh
Revisado: 03-17-25
Narration: The female narration was good. I also liked the male narration for Casteel, but I absolutely hated when the male narrator did Poppy. I hated it so much, that I finally had to find the book online and read the parts of the male narrator ( Casteel’s POV). His voice of Poppy truly was cringe worthy especially during the spicy scenes.
*****Not major spoilers…but it can be. So if you want a totally fresh read, then avoid.
First off, I like the story, world building and characters. I really liked the storyline of the MMC being held captive and the FMC trying to rescue him. It was dark..sad and kept me riveted. I think, after that, their relationship kind of just fell flat for me. After the rescue, the Cas and Poppy scenes were on a repetitive loop. Nothing interesting, so the author would too often throw in some spice. I also did not like them bringing in Kieran to the mix. The Kieran part was awkward. I understand why the author threw it in…she had to, because there was so much reference to it. I did not like afterwards, though, how it seemed like Poppy is being shared. I think it diluted Cas and Poppy’s relationship.
Now that the relationship between Cas and Poppy seems repetitive and predictable, I am taking a break from the series. Not sure if CAs and Poppy trying to fight in the next book is interesting enough for me to continue.

I’m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I’m Fae. But of course, there’s a catch - all I have to do to claim my birthright is prove that I’m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria. And sure, technically that’s true, as I’m the daughter of the Savage King. But the bit they didn’t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could.

Horrible story, writing and narration
Revisado: 02-25-25
There was not one character that was like-able. The story was boring the writing was at a 4th grade level. The narrators were monotone and flat. I love fantasy series and have read ( and listened to) quite a few, but I could not wait until this was over. I forced myself to finish.
