I was reviewing some of the messages- for those of us that have read all the VI books by listening; Susan Erickson is as much a part of these books as Pepe and Mr. Contreras. Please keep her and keep writing VI into life.

Why does she pick readers with poor performance ability? Poor Italian accent- VI mother was important in her life I thought she would be more careful- use the reader that performs the initial VI books

Very Dark

I know vigilantism is a dark subject as is back alley abortion and war etc- but to hear these grouped in a story and in detail was too much-
I have taken care of patients who survived the Bataan death march- I learned to not make them relive the past

Would you listen to The One-in-a-Million Boy again? Why?

yes- I am hosting a book club there is much fodder for discussion. People can move on after tragedy

I grew up with an neighbor like Onna -the accent was very close to what I remembered

Alan in his way was a champion for gay rights besides being the mind behind this wonderful device I am typing on - cheers to you Dr. Alan Turing

Purpose of long drawn-out torture

Could have been a great book- but too much time spent on the graffic torture
Very good depiction of how rape/murder abduction effects family friends for years
Missed opportunity to provide info about abduction

Chopra is a terrible narrator

Get a reader that can tell a story-

He read it like a high school kid in English class

The reader bring Flavia to life- but I was disappointed by the story- a body dropping out of the chimney?--should have tied her mother in better

Poor narrative
