Left me wanting more
Revisado: 01-21-20
This was somewhat of a data dump on Bill Gates, summarized by another person. It included some history, famous quotes, and other tales of Gates' successes and failures. It left me wanting to read another version with more direct input from Gates himself.

Liane Moriarty doesn't disappoint
Revisado: 01-21-20
I enjoyed the twisted tale of this intense health retreat experienced by nine perfect strangers. It took a few cheesy turns and ended (spoiler alert!) happier than was realistic for everyone. I listened to the audio book and couldn't "put it down" - good story, great performance.

He regarded her, she regarded him...
Revisado: 08-25-18
Aside from the excessive use of the word "regard," this was a sweet Charleston love story. The repeated reference to the poor boys being sponsored by an unnamed donor to attend the rich kids' high school was left unresolved. The story was predictable, but I still wanted to hear more.

The perfect audio book
Revisado: 01-16-17
Great performance, catchy story, unusual story line, not all about a love story. While I haven't read this on paper, and an a big proponent of the imagination required when reading from a book, my guess is that I'd love it better in the audio format. It was that good!

my favorite audio book in a long time
Revisado: 02-08-15
This was a wonderful story, and the narration was perfect. I didn't want to "put it down" and luckily many times I could listen while doing other things. Brilliant!
