Historia
Sword and Scale is a weekly true crime podcast covering the dark underworld of crime and the criminal justice system’s response to it. The first episode launched January 1st, 2014 and feature stories of murder, abduction, rape, and even more bizarre forms of crime. It’s the purest form of true-crime where the raw uncensored audio tells the story. Everything from 911 calls to court testimony, interviews with victims and sometimes with perpetrators give listeners a 360 degree look at the seedy underbelly of human nature and so-called civilized society. Sword and scale proves that the worst ...

Well researched and presented.
My only real issue is that many of the interview clips are too quiet compared to the rest of the podcast, so sometimes you have to turn the volume way up to hear them, but then turn it back down quickly when that clip is done playing.
A relatively minor issue though.

Love!!!
Revisado: 09-16-18
So on the first book I wasn’t as kind to the narrator, I felt like she was overly dramatic in her reading. This book was so much better!!!! Or maybe I just got used to her?? Lol regardless, full 5 stars for everything on book 2

Great Story!!
Revisado: 09-12-18
I loved this book!! I read it on kindle first and decided I wanted the audiobooks so that I could enjoy the story again while going about my life. Unfortunately I didn’t really care for the narrator. Her voices were not bad, but I feel like she was overly dramatic. Occasionally it would take me out of the story because of how over done it was. She wasn’t unbearable though, so I still think the audiobook is well worth one of my monthly credits.

Historia
Tesser, the dragon of life itself, is one of seven: Earth’s primordial draconic guardians, destined to oversee its development and safety. Species rose and fell, and 10,000 years ago...Tesser disappeared. The golden dragon woke up this morning, buried deep beneath the city of Boston, with no idea how he got there, and no idea how humanity grew so fast and learned so much while he was away. He is lost, a fish out of water. Where is the magic? He’s got a lot of catching up to do if he’s going to find his missing sister and stop an incursion of daemons from beyond the Veil.

Debatable
Revisado: 01-08-17
The writing style was seriously juvenile, at some points irritatingly so. Many times I felt like I was listening to a pubescent aged boy spinning his fantasy...However if you can get past that, the actual story being told is a lot of fun. The narrator was pretty good. Story only got three stars because of the style of writing, would have been a five star story otherwise.
