Narration was cringy
Revisado: 12-27-24
I really did not like the narration. I ended up going on kindle and reading the last part. Why wouldn’t they have the male narrator do his part? The female narrating Vad’s part was horrible. I say this hoping I won’t offend the narrator, but man it was just awful. And the breathless parts, ugh, extra cringy. The story was ok, the interaction between Vad and corvina in the beginning was meh.

Excellent performance
Revisado: 08-24-24
This was different from what I listen to but it got me interested immediately. Finished it in record time. The performance was phenomenal for both. There are a lot of steamy scenes but it didn’t over shadow the overall story.

My least favorite of the series
Revisado: 08-19-24
I know this is supposed to be about the empathetic sister but she was too weak and meek. Lots of fast forward to get through this. Still looking forward to the next ones though. The stories are light and enjoyable except for this one, the plot was fun but the rest was playful to listen to.

Great story but Diem is so annoying
Revisado: 07-14-24
I have to admit, I really liked this and the performance was amazing. My only problem was with Diem. I rolled my eyes so much almost everytime she did something or continued to cling to Henry. And then the story with her mom ( trying not to say more) is so freakin annoying! Let’s hope book three will show Diem as the badass we are waiting for and for. Hopefully Luther’s role will also be more than the perfect person who was so patient even in situations where he needed to kind of get a little angry at the none sense!

Historia
Fae games will change you . . . but their love will ruin you. At least, that's what my mother told me. My mother had three rules: 1. Never make a bargain with a fairy. 2. Never enter the Waywoods on a hunting day. 3. Never give the High Fae princes a reason to notice you. But even when I followed all the rules, the royal fae still took my family from me. So in one night I broke all three rules, and brought the kingdom to their knees.

Over all it was alright
Revisado: 07-01-24
This was one of the books that seemed slightly lacking in some details related to the characters. The main female character could have been so much more but seems unfinished. I’m still unsure what her background story is and the male ones are intriguing. Overall it was ok.

Not my favorite. I couldn’t finish it
Revisado: 05-13-24
I couldn’t finish this. Stopped in the middle mainly due to the narrator. No offense but I cringed half the time from the guttural way it was narrated for lack of better words. I’m not too fond of Nesta too as a character.

What happened to Jacqueline Onassis??
Revisado: 06-25-23
The story was ok. Started nicely and ended leaving me with more questions like what the heck happened with the cat?!?! Where did Jacqueline end up? Joking aside, loved the narrator for Ellen. She was hilarious. Overall good audiobook if only for the narration.
