Historia
When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

Meh
Revisado: 06-23-18
Lots of twists, but they seemed gimmicky and rather than make the story more interesting, they just kind of weighed the story down. Notably, the twist in the epilogue. It wasn’t so shocking as to leave you thinking about it for a long time, so I mean, why bother at that point in the story?

Really?

Cliche chick lit. I'm tired of bony fingers being pressed into delicate breast bones. Perhaps I should have listened further, but was not impressed enough to do so.

Mixed reactions

The story line was cute, but I really disliked the lead character. At one point her fiancée called her independent, but I found her to be very coddled and quite co- dependent. The narrator's "valley girl" voice for the lead character made me dislike her even more. However, I did listen all the way to the end... so I must admit that the story line made me think, which is one of the things I like most about reading/listening.
