Such a Heartwarming Quirky Little Story
Revisado: 08-23-21
I love this book. The characters, the narrator, the story, all of it. Over the past few years, I’ve relistened to it 5 times.

Refreshing
Revisado: 06-27-21
A story about a strong loving family and five sisters and their relationships with the men in their lives and each other. A sweet story about a young man in love with one sister and marrying another in a research project and their discoveries they all make about themselves and each other along the way. Great narration too. I hope Beth Moran writes even more books with the same soul and familial bonds as this one.

Historia
Minnie Cooper knows two things with certainty: that her New Year's birthday is unlucky, and that it's all because of Quinn Hamilton, a man she's never met. Their mothers gave birth to them at the same hospital just after midnight on New Year's Day, but Quinn was given the cash prize for being the first baby born in London in 1990 - and the name Minnie was meant to have, as well. With luck like that, it's no wonder each of her birthdays has been more of a disaster than the one before.

Really Sweet Story with Great Narration
Revisado: 02-09-21
Only wish the main characters had discovered more of their chance meetings over the years within the story. Otherwise, this was a sweet, funny, thoughtful story.

Just couldn’t get into it...
Revisado: 05-28-18
It might have been the narrator not matching the main character, I don’t know. I just did not find it very funny or intriguing. It had a few high points but I would not recommend it if you are looking for smart, romantic and funny.

Historia
Emma has a job in television which is distinctly less glamourous and exciting than it sounds. She's managed to claw her way up the ranks from Tea Maker and Rubbish Collector to Second Assistant Director (heavy on the assistant. Even heavier on the second.). So when she finds she's accidentally very pregnant and at the same time accidentally very sacked (well, less accidentally: she did tell her boss to stick his job up his bum), she knows things are going to have to change.

Great Cast of Characters
Revisado: 05-19-18
This was a funny and heartwarming read. Emma is a very likable female lead and her misadventures keep you well entertained and interested. Her family, friends and neighbors are humorously eccentric and endearing. Emma’s love interest would be my ideal man; he kept me laughing and swooning with his unassuming and clever antics. Emma’s Mom is a hoot, too. Lovely story!

Historia
Settling down for a 24-hour flight to Australia, Lucy finds a text message on her phone - not from her boyfriend James, as she fondly hopes, but from a woman claiming to have slept with him four times in the past month. Trapped on the plane, she questions everything about her relationship with James. She finally calls him and he reassures her: it was only his mates playing a silly joke.

Very Good Book but....
Revisado: 11-21-17
The only thing I didn’t like about it was how Lucy was so wishy-washy at the end when the best choice was so clearly obvious. Her boyfriend was a jerk and didn’t deserve her pity.

Wonderful Listening
Revisado: 11-18-16
I got this in a promo and wasn't sure I'd like it, but it turned out to be one of my favorite Audio books to date. The main character is fabulous, classy, funny, and authentic. I'd love another story about her. Wonderful supporting characters. You won't regret this one.

Loved all of the characters, depth of feeling, glimpses into the past. Very nice story, as was the prequel to this book, The Union Street Bakery.
