Perfect Ending

I was super stoked when I saw that L.D. Davis’ Worth the Fight was finally available in audio form, Worth the Fight is the final audiobook in the Accidentally On Purpose trilogy, and the first audiobook AOP was released 3 ½ years ago. Worth the Fight is Luke Kessler’s story and would I highly suggest you listen the AOP before listening to this book

Luke’s story starts off with my favorite passage from AOP, when a desolate Luke confronts girlfriend Emmy Grayne over her affair with boss Kyle Sterling, it’s the most heartbreaking part of their story and hearing it told from Luke’s POV loses none of its intensity.

We learn what Luke’s been up to since the breakup and before Emmy comes to town and drops a bombshell on is life. This is an emotional listen as Luke and Emmy try to rebuild basic trust and then rebuild their relationship, but it’s not easy because even though a year has passed Luke is still very hurt and Emma has come back into Luke's life a completely broken woman, the harsh words Luke spoke to Emmy when they parted end up coming to fruition in the most painful of way. Realizing just how deeply wounded and depressed Emmy is, Luke comes to the realization that for both their sakes he must help to heal Emmy's heart.

I loved this story and it's a satisfying completion to the AOP series. Joe Arden narrates and he did an awesome job voicing the characters and I found his delivery completely engaging, this audiobook clocks in at almost 11 hours and it went by way too fast, I never wanted to put the story on pause, it’s that entertaining.

Crazy Good, is!

This story had a nice flow to it, arrogant, cocky Seal, meets his match and falls hard. This story has angst, but it is not contrived and there are no silly misunderstanding. Just honest emotions. I had to Google Rachel Robinson to see if this was the first in a series and it is, but another book is in the works for the Morganna character and I can't wait. But don't worry this is a completed story with a HEA. Buy or credit you'll enjoy this one.

Brooding loner meets Miss Congeniality

I really enjoyed this story, just a good love story with a no nonsense hero. It's not steamy and that's just fine with me.... Sometimes!

Just an old fashion love story

A decent man works to heal he woman he loves, ah...so refreshing, no stupid misunderstandings, just two people trying to make each other whole. Nothing more to say other than I enjoyed it immensely.

Rafe has issues

So... I enjoyed this disturbing story, I'm not sure what that says about me, but what a total control freak Rafe is, and right now I really, really hate him!!! Will I buy the next book in the series? Of course! I have to find out how the author is going to redeem his character and let me tell you Melody has an uphill battle on that one.

It's official I Love L D Davis!

Ok first I was hesitant to buy the audio book because... Well... Ok...I'm a minutes snob even though I loved AOP, this book is just short of 5 hours and I am usually reluctant to used my credit on anything shorter than 8 hours. Well I have to say I'm glad I went outside my comfort zone because this book is awesome and boy oh boy a lot was packed into that 4 plus hours. I laughed, got teary eyed and thought about waking my husband out of a sound sleep to give me some! What more can a girl ask for? Serena Daniels narrates again and of course did a outstanding job. Now what I'm I gonna do till the next book is written? Sigh...

I'll be purchasing Devoured!

OK so I downloaded this novella to see if I wanted to purchase the audiobook Devoured, and yippee it was good! Good story, good narrator, I can't wait to see what happens between Sienna and her bad boy rocker!

I rarely listen to book twice!

I enjoyed this story so much, I've listened to it a few times, I really like Freddie Bates narration. Some maybe put off by how forceful the Max is in his demands, but I guess I like a guy who goes after what he wants, when he's certain she wants it too!

Hot Romance, Story Lukewarm

I wanted to love this book, I really did, but the reasoning behind not being open and honest with each other was so weak, it brought the whole story down, in my opinion. In both cases it was something that a basic Google search could have uncovered.

Good Story, Great Sex and Comic Relief!

I love Suzanne Wright's stories, She's one of the few writers that actually make me laugh out loud, the things her characters say!!! My hubby looks at me as if I lost my mind. Keep them coming Suzanne. Oh and I love love Jill Redfield's narrations skills, she now one of my favorites.
