I was very surprised with this book. I kind of thought, at first, it would be a book all about Comey tearing #45 apart. It’s not. This man is really a man with great intelligence and integrity.

The story was typical romance...at first they don't like each other, then fall in love. I liked the events that happened to the characters. Only problem was the reader. Please...she sounded so "breathless" as she read the narrative part of the story, then got some fairly good sounding voices for the people. She was rather difficult to understand at times. Only complaint was the reader.

Where is the time travel in this book....Very end???? Misleadingto call it a time travel novel. Narrator, I thought, was terrible. I kept wondering which character was speaking. Really disappointed in the book.

No, guess I wouldn't. I TRIED listening to the first couple chapters, but all I can say is nothing caught my attention to listen to more...
What didn’t you like about Tom Dheere’s performance?
boring .... but the contents were not interesting.

Sorry to the author and Mr Dheere. Nothing got my attention. Don't know if I should have tried to listen longer..... but contents were NOT what I was hoping to hear

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I have gotten quite a few of my friends to start on the 'Davenport' novels, and they have all become Lucas fans. Yes, and I continue to recommend them. I am very proud he has some Minnesota roots, since I live here.
What did you like best about this story?
I love knowing, as Lucas travels the Twin Cities and Minnesota, that a lot of these streets and roads are places that I have traveled also!
What does Richard Ferrone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His change in voice, etc... You know exactly who is talking when he changes character voice... Have listened to many of the books that he has narrated ..always a god job
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.... But then I usually listen to them again, a month or so later...

Can't wait for the new Virgil Flowers novel from Mr. Sandford!!

Just another great story from Ms Evanovich. I laugh out loud as I am listening..family always wonders, until I let them know what I am listening to.

Every single character is brought to life by Ms King, probably the best narrator !! I will listen to anything read by her !,

Some of the funniest and most notable characters ! And with Ms King... You know exactly who it is, as soon as you hear her change character. Kudos to all!

Narration was terrible. Voice changes were horrendous ! Could not really enjoy the story because of it.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Julia Motyka?
