Meh. More new characters less intimacy

Wish Radclyffe would expand on the original characters. Two new mains that seem to spend less time to together yet burst I’m in love with you in the last 13 mins. Not as strong as earlier Radclyffe novels.

Another great from Meghan O’Brien

The energy and sensuality she writes between characters is always so palpable and intense. Love that she gave us something new. Disappointed with the whole ‘closeted in a small town’ part but the world is going backwards to these type of places. Hopefully the next one is a sequel to Wild!

Not much passion or rivalry

I love Radclyffe. Usually enjoyable stories. Yes it is a bit of a rinse and repeat formula but they quality was decent. This story feels like even Radclyffe is just going through the motions. The only reason I checked this one out was for more Honor and Quinn, even that seemed forced. And there is no attempt in continuity of voice type with pre-existing characters. It’s a solid Meh.

Producers need to care more about series narration

I didn’t have a problem with the narrators quality. Of course we want Abby!! The production company needs to either use the same narrator for an entire series. It really sucks to her two different voices for the same character. This book did seem a little rushed to include what she could to jam out a new story. I loved the crossover and would like more of that. I did not have an issue with the time jump to current day issues. More stuff to write about and possible story lines. Don’t forget this is fiction.

Slight issue with narrator

Another great story! I found the narrator to be decent. But there seemed to be no difference between main characters voices. You do a passable Australian accent for a background character, yet the to mains blend together. Also first time I’ve heard someone read “she let out a sigh...” an then actually sigh. Felt weird.

Yay! The word Pussy!

I’ve been through a lot of Radclyffe and a couple other authors, which have all been good. It’s just refreshing to hear pussy rather than some euphemism about lady parts. Besides that this was a great story. I was afraid it may come off campy or goofy but the author did an exceptional job. Could have used some more descriptions of the main characters at their introductions. The hot scenes to interesting story ratio was perfect. I did not have any issues with the narrators choice for Selene’s accent. It was more Eastern European than Italian to me but it works. And narrator got 4/5 because a couple of times she mixed up which character was supposed to be speaking.

What the hell producers?!

Another great Radclyffe book. I really like the series rather than the one off stories. More characters and character growth is nice. The narrator did a great job too. My problem is with continuity, particularly Flanery and Harper’s voices. They are described as deeper/husky and previous narrators did as described. This narrator had Flanery’s voice at such a high pitch it kind of ruins part of this for me. I blame the producers/editors. What is your job if not to ensure continuity in a series, especially if you do not use the same narrator through out?!

Brave is an understatement

Hearing everything in her own words from her own voice makes this book doubly powerful. Everyone should read this book. We all need to think and act different than the way we have been conditioned to. Our voices are the ultimate power. Thank you Rose.

ER Meets L Word!

I haven’t found a Radclyffe book I didn’t like. There is a similar format among the books but that’s the same for tv shows. Each story has its own unique parts, steamy sex scenes and action packed trauma/medical events. Now we need Linda and Robin’s origin story!
