Superficial and insubstantial
Revisado: 11-07-24
A very shallow set of sketches of the American presidents. This book could’ve been written from Wikipedia summaries, as opposed to substantial research. The authors completely missed what were often significant events during the various administrations. It was as if the book had been written for high school students.

Sublime Narration
Revisado: 09-28-24
This was an unparalleled example of bringing a classic to life through oral interpretation. The vocal variety and range of the narrator made this an exceptional audiobook.

An Interesting Dramatization
Revisado: 06-26-24
There was a fascinating documentary approach to this historical Cold War topic. Actors’ voices were combined with actual recorded testimony. The short and lively programs made for an excellent introduction to three controversial events. Highly recommended.

The book was well structured with thoughtful outlines, followed by prose commentary. The narration was also superb with excellent articulation and vocal variety. This is a great review for both students and lovers of history.

Unprofessional conduct
Revisado: 02-10-24
Victor, there needs to be more give-and-take between you and your interlocutor. On multiple occasions in this podcast, you interrupted Sami. She comes into these sessions thoroughly prepared, and the audience wants to hear her views. But you will not even allow her to complete a sentence or ask a question. Stop interrupting and get some professionalism! Start acting like a gentleman instead of a boor!

Historia
Millions of words of scholarship have been expended on the world's most famous author and his work. And yet a critical part of the puzzle, Shakespeare's library, is a mystery. For four centuries people have searched for it: in mansions, palaces, and libraries; in riverbeds, sheep pens, and partridge coops; and in the corridors of the mind. Yet no trace of the Bard's manuscripts, books, or letters has ever been found.

A Missed Opportunity
Revisado: 12-28-23
The content of this book was hopelessly confused. In scholarship related to the Shakespeare authorship question, the book failed to cover the massive work done by researchers into the Earl of Oxford. In terms of the main topic of Shakespeare’s library, the known books in possession of the Earl of Oxford are a match with the sources of Shakespeare’s plays. And the most important source for Shakespeare, Ovid’s Metamorphoses, was translated in an English version by the Earl of Oxford‘s uncle.
