I purchased this book because, though I am not a fan of western books, I have loved every book this author has written. However, this has to be the most boring book I have ever tried to suffer through while trying to tell myself, "It has to get better!" It didn't. I finally had to give up and turn it off! It is so bad, I'm going to have to give up and turn it off. It is just plain awful! Yuk!

I have almost every Julie Garwood book she has ever written and listen to each at least once a year. I love them all except this one. It is so awful I couldn't even finish it! It did put me to sleep though. I tried listening to it the next day, but it was so boring it just made me angry that I had wasted my money on it! I'll probably think twice before I buy her next one!

I'm a little ticked that my friends, who share my love of good books had not introduced me to this series before now! Unfortunately, there are only three of this series in audio books. I'll have to try to read the rest of them in kindle books. And I will definitely be trying to do that, despite the headaches and frustration that will cause. I try to get all my books in audio because my eyesight is so poor, but these books are absolutely worth the frustration of trying to read them. They are that good. Anyone who loves a good book with wonderful characters and good writing, will enjoy this series by Kate Morris. Hopefully, the rest of the series will be brought out in audio soon.

Couldn't get through the first chapter!

I loved the first two books, so I purchased this one as soon as I saw it. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it through the first chapter. I have diabetes and it has affected my eyesight, so I depend on audio books. The narrative was so poor I had to turn it off. I returned it asap and purchased the kindle edition instead. I will give a review of the book once I get through that copy. I rarely have to resort to such measures, but I'm hoping the story will make it worthwhile.

At Last!

I have been waiting for book 2 of this series to come out for more than a Year! I love this series and it was this series that got me hooked on this author. I ended up having to buy books 2 and 3 in the kindle edition when they did not come out in audio. I used to love to read, but problems with my diabetes has made reading very difficult for me, so I've switched to audio.
I.have loved watching this author mature and grow with each new book he writes. I enjoy his stories and the personalities of his characters. I can hardly wait until book 3 comes out in audio. Does anyone know when it will be out?
