Flat characters, cringe filled performance.

The characters seemed overly one-dimensional, making it too easy for them to evolve later. The dialog was juvenile and flat, it seemed like the writing process was rushed.
The performance was rather comical, with voice-actors overplaying emotions like exasperation and despondency, making it hard to empathize with their plight.
I listened since it’s a Cosmere novel, but I’m glad it’s over.

An interesting continuation

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, and while the main story of this was interesting and quite good, I felt there was way to much time to addressing the multiplicity of “women” interested in Felix. Other than that it was a good continuation and had a pretty good twist

Awesome new perspective

I really enjoy the InCryptid series, and really enjoyed seeing a story from Antimony's perspective. Seanan has crafted another extremely enjoyable story in a great universe.

I have been extremely pleased with this series. Each book continues to get better with each installment and this one was creative and a great addition to the series.

Freaking awesome

I am a humongous fan of Correia, Butcher and Ringo (read that as I have pretty much everything that each has written) so this was like Christmas came early. The stories were interesting and fit well within the MHI universe. That was the other nice thing is it was an anthology where all the stories were in the universe of the editor which was extremely nice.

Beware, there is a huge section missing

This audio book is missing a fairly large section from the last part of the book. It essentially repeats the last hour or so of the book twice. I will update the review once they have fixed the issue, but buyer beware.

Another awesome Hayes novel

This series has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. The plot and character development keep you engrossed in the story. This series reminds powerfully of Hogwarts but keeps you more deeply engaged. The narrator is also excellent as he is able to consistently bring a unique voice to each of the characters. Eagerly waiting the next volume to be available on Audible.

Wonderful conclusion

I honestly wish that the author would have maintained the original characters from the other two books in this trilogy, and Audible didn't take so long to get this on. I also wish the original narrator would have stayed on...but beyond those minor gripes, it was a great book.

I love the Safehold series with the exception that they can't seem to keep a consistant narrator! This current narrator makes me feel like I'm going to fall asleep!
