Historia
An original novella set in season three of The Orville—straight from the pen of Seth MacFarlane, creator of the beloved sci-fi TV show! When Captain Ed Mercer and the crew of the U.S.S. Orville come face-to-face with one of humanity's most vile ideologies, they must solve the moral conundrum of who to hold accountable for evil deeds real… and imagined. Occurring just after episode 308, this is the Orville like you've never seen it before.

Not One of Seth MacFarlane’s Best
Revisado: 08-05-22
When I purchased this book it was because The Orville is one of my favorite shows on TV right today. I do feel it is a Love Letter to Star Trek The Next Generation feel the show is due for a major motion picture at some point.
That being said, I found this book too much like a Reginald Barkley story from Next Gen about his holoaddiction and wanting to be on the Holodeck more than with real people. While interesting I found the story very boring and I was greatly disappointed with it. Maybe had it been made into the 11th episode this season it might have been better But on the whole I was not thrilled with it at all. Too bad too. I was hoping I would enjoy it immensely but alas that was not to be the ca se. Better luck next Time Seth.

Historia
Mike and Annie, refugees from the world outside, find a home underground, behind the scenes of Dreamworld, a theme park where hope exists as it does nowhere else. But Dreamworld is threatened by a jealous competitor who kills what he can’t have. As if this were not trouble enough, the two discover that each day there are more of the “trolls” who maintain Dreamworld than there were the day before. As the trolls continue to multiply, they must discover why, or it could mean the end of Dreamworld - and the real world.

Excellent STory
Revisado: 06-09-20
I have been a Heinlein fan for nearly 50 years and before reading this story by Spider Robinson the only other novel I had read (or listened to) was Variable Star that he co-authored with Heinlein. I can see by Spider's writing why some call him the modern day Heinlein. This book was very well done and I plan on reading it again in the very near future. Because of it I'm currently listening to an old Heinlein novel, Rocketship Galileo, just because Spider narrarated it and he does have a good speaking voice. I am looking forward to starting his Callahan series next. Keep up the good work Spider! I was surprised that they didn't have him write the latest Heinlein novel that recently came out.

Star Trek Meets Starship Trooper
Revisado: 08-23-19
As an avid star trek novel reader I have to admit this is my first Star Trek Discovery novel and I love it!! As I said in the title Star Trek meets Starship Trooper (by Robert A Heinlein) I say this because the adversary that captures some of the crew are wearing mobile armor just like the soldiers in Starship Troopers and the enemies THEY fight are the arachnids of the Heinlein novel. Starship Troopers is my favorite novel and I have enjoyed this one even more because of that!.
I plan on listening to more of the Discovery series of books and hope they are as good as this one is.

Great Read for an Author's First Book
Revisado: 01-28-19
I finished this book and was ready to listen to it again! Being from Southern Arizona I love that it was set here and that the Names Old Pueblo and Camelback were used for Tucson and Phoenix. I also loved that Jon honored one of my favorite radio talk show hosts who passed a couple of years back in the novel as well. I can't wait for the next installment in this series if there is one and look forward to reading more of Jon's books when they come out. 5 Stars Jon!

Narraration Sucks!
Revisado: 09-21-18
I have been waiting with baited breath for this story to come out and now realize I should have downloaded it to my Kindle app. The story so far is fantastic but the Narraration leaves a lot to be desired. Where is Jennifer Ikeda? The voice of Diana & Matthew as well as the rest of the cast seem very off with her reading it. Terrible narration but good s tory

Good Story, Crummy Performance
Revisado: 04-04-18
What made the experience of listening to Dark Justice the most enjoyable?
I have enjoyed all of the Sean Dillon series. This one is good but not great
What did you like best about this story?
Not sure I liked anything best about it
Did Michael Page do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I have all but one of this series done by Michael Page. He does a great job but none of the characters sound as they did in previous stories. Ferguson has an accent that changes from Irish to Scottish when it used to be British. Johnson sounds more like Dillon did in previous books and Dillon has his Irish accent but does not sound the same as in the previous books
Any additional comments?
I will go through the rest of the books but I hope the next one I listen to has the characters sounding as they did previously
