Historia
After issuing orders to have low-yield nuclear weapons deployed against the rapidly merging zombie mega-herds, the President of the United States, holed up in Raven Rock Mountain Complex in Pennsylvania with the remnants of his cabinet, inexplicably goes dark. With the Pentagon abandoned weeks prior and no Joint Chiefs of Staff left alive to guide the fractured military, the Ronin Protocol, a component of the government’s end-of-the-world Continuity of Operations Plan, is automatically enacted.

Historia
After a whirlwind year, Tabitha Walker’s carefully organized plan to achieve the life she wanted—perfect job, dream husband, and stylish home—has gone off the rails. Her checklist now consists of diapers changed (infinite), showers taken (zero), tears cried (buckets), and hours of sleep (what’s that?). Don't get her wrong, Tabby loves her new bundle of joy and motherhood is perhaps the only thing that's consistent for her these days. When the news station announces that they will be hiring outside competitors for the new anchor position, Tabby throws herself into her work.

Historia
In a small apartment, Black and White, as the two men are known, begin a conversation that leads each back through his own history, mining the origins of two fundamentally opposing world views. White is a professor whose seemingly enviable existence of relative ease has left him nonetheless in despair. Black, an ex-con and ex-addict, is the more hopeful of the menthough he is just as desperate to convince White of the power of faith as White is desperate to deny it.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Great Narration, well-written story
Revisado: 01-21-23
If you judge this audible experience based on the qualities of story, performance and how engaging it is overall it is pretty good. Removing political or personal opinions about the people....it is an achievement to keep listeners interested for 15 hours. It is an achievement to tell a story that contains so many different aspects, yet flows together well. Also, Prince Harry is an excellent narrator. He reads the story as if narration has been his career all along. He has a great voice. While I don't want to hear him narrating my cheesy airport favorites, he would be excellent for historical or biographical audiobooks. I don't think he needs to talk more about the royals (but that is his choice to make of course). He obviously has a passion for humanitarian work, conservation, and mental health. I hope his family and the press allow him to make an honest living going forward and that one of the ways he supports his family is narration. He has proven he can do great work and can sell books.
I've never been into the Royals outside of their historical significance, but I gave this book a chance. I'm glad that I did. It is an autobiography so it is opinion, emotion and memory based. The content may or may not be factual as with any biography. If anything, it is this generations glimpse into the current world of the English monarchy. Historically, it is not unusual for those people to fight, scheme, or for one of them to break away and reveal their feelings about the family. He is simply doing it using modern media.
The audiobook is well done.

Tariq Trotter, a.k.a. Black Thought, sits firmly within the pantheon of hip-hop’s greatest MCs. But the cofounder of the multiplatinum-selling hip-hop band The Roots is best understood not through all trophies and awards, but the sheer weight of his lyrical force. In 7 Years, Trotter’s new addition to Audible’s Words + Music series, the prolific rapper examines his life and career in dynamic seven-year increments.

Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

Great
Revisado: 02-04-19
I love a story that has smart characters. The author is able to tell the story without the characters making unbelievable mistakes just to move the story along. She seems to trust the audience to understand that bad or surprising things can still happen to characters who do the right things and are as prepared as possible. In many thrillers, there is a character who has a hunch or instincts that could save lives but they choose to keep their hunches a secret which usually leads to their death or someone elses death. That behaviour has always been unbelieveable to me or an obvious plot device. The characters in this story often work together, are honest, and share info and sometimes things still turn out badly due to a million other factors. The community that develops around the central tragedy made me feel invested in the characters. I found this story interesting, romantic at times and hopeful about overcoming crisis. Not my normal genre of book, but it was very entertaining.

A story from the source
Revisado: 06-13-18
I don't care much about politics but I love my country and wanted to hear James Comey's accounts of things. This book is great because it is well-written, thoughtful, engaging and concise. Not only is it written by James Comey, but he stands behind his words by narrating. I appreciate this. It lends credibility to accounts of his strong moral character, dignity and integrity. I didn't listen to this audiobook to validate my opinions or otherwise, but to gain a greater perspective on a larger picture. This book served that purpose. This moment in history (like every moment) is a culmination of many actions, and experiences. His experience is extremely important for comprehending our time.

Annie Collins is back! Becoming an overnight celebrity at age 16 should have been a lot more fun. Not helping matters: she’s the only kid in school with her own pet spaceship. She would love it if things found some kind of normal, but as long as she has control of the most lethal - and only - interstellar vehicle in existence, that isn’t going to happen. Worse, things appear to be going in the other direction.

Such a fun book
Revisado: 03-07-18
I love the pace of the Sorrow Falls stories. They are fun, funny, and surprising. The characters (even the jerks like Rick) are enjoyable and I feel like I know everyone in that town.
Annie is written like a regular person, which is very different from the ridiculously quirky heroines of most of the books I read (my fault, I know). I love that she is developing in authentic ways with each book. She is simply a smart human. That is her source of power and why people are drawn to her.
I thought the narrators voice would be strange for a teenage young woman but his performance is so energetic it works. I was pleasantly surprised by the first bok and love this one even more.
