Historia
Most people know this book from the Academy Award-winning motion picture starring Winona Ryder. Now, introduce them to the sparkling American classic behind the movie: a charming portrait of the joys and hardships of the four sisters in Civil War New England. Separated by the war from their beloved parents, these "little women" struggle to find their place in the world.

Good story!
Revisado: 11-22-24
I really enjoyed this book, but because I’m only twelve I found the beginning more interesting being that they’re younger. I zoned out around the end. I have always enjoyed older time periods but because I haven’t read a book about this time I was first surprised at the customs. Like many others I was disappointed at the fact Joe and “Teddy” didn’t end up together but I still think it worked out nice. Overall I think this is a amazing book that every one should read, I find it sad that this isn’t a must read at school. You have to go out and find your own classic books to read. This book is worth reading!

Historia
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

Great!
Revisado: 08-20-24
I’ll say one thing, this book is amazing. I have been reading the reviews and so many people don’t like the narrator! Personally I loved it, but as said in other reviews The narrator does alternate voice tones depending on the moment. This can get kind of annoying depending on what you’re doing while listening. I would not recommend it or driving or sleeping, but this audiobook is great for listening to on headphones or just for fun! This audiobook is either loved or hated, I would recommend listening to the first two chapters to figure that out. I will say though that the narrator has great feeling that he puts into the characters. It takes some time to get used to his low voice, just a warning. Overall in my opinion I could listen to this many more times! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!

Voices need some work, good book!
Revisado: 03-31-24
I loved these books when I was younger! When I saw that they were on Audible I started to listen to them, but when I heard how BAD the voices were I almost gave up on the books. Benny is high pitched, Jessie is very soft toned, and Violet and Henry sound like adults. I just couldn’t give up on the books though, so I committed to them and soon I didn’t hear the voices. Over all a good-ish book!

Sooner or later, he must return and face the bully determined to fight him and his bickering parents, who worry when Wil decides to stay on the island indefinitely.

I’m Left Speechless…
Revisado: 02-22-24
I’ve been down with the fever for the last two days now and out of curiosity listened to Mr. Tucket, the first of the series from Tucket’s adventures. I had read all the books I could from the series and enjoyed them so much. While listening I was carried away into the story. Then once those books ran out I looked for other books by this author and found this one. I just couldn’t put it down, I felt myself being sucked away from my world and into Will’s life on the island and to go through what he went through. Listening to this book not only helped Will learn life itself but helped me too. After listening to this book I felt like I understood life in the way Will understood life. This book was one of the best ever. If this book was this good I can’t wait to listen to Hatchet which I hear is even better!

Change the Voices (but good book)
Revisado: 11-27-23
The book was amazing, I used to read these books all the time and when I heard there were audiobooks I just had to read them, but as soon as I heard the voices I almost had to stop it was that bad. It took about an whole hour just to get used to the voices. I love the book, but Benny sounds like he’s constantly screaming, Henry sounds like he an adult man, and Violet sounds like she’s never yelled in her life. Jessie is the only decently voiced one. Even though all that I would still say the book is mind blowing and all kids 6-12 would enjoy this exciting book!

I wish there were more of this series!
Revisado: 10-31-23
This book is so interesting, I love to listen to this every night. But the books always have to end even though I just want them to go on forever. This was one great book, but I would love to have more of this book, are they getting married; will they spend the rest of their life out in the wild and be miners like Ronja said? Even though some of these details could be put into another book this book is on of the best.
It is perfect for your 6-12 kid, they will love it! I highly recommend this book for you! Overall this is one of the best books on Audible, this one is a must have!

This book is really good! I have read it over and over! My only disappointment to it is that the book ended on such a sad note and I would have liked if they could have let it end on a happier note. But I could still say that this book is super good and I would recommend this book to you!
