It was way too long for the little amount that actually happened. There was so much talking going on even while they were being attacked they talked for at least half an hour instead of doing what needed to be done.

Hypocrite

The story is good but I just can't like the FMC. She's not nice to her "friends". She is such a bad friend and a hypocrite. She threatens one when he doesn't want to do something cause it could get him arrested. She calls another one names for leaving her to do something that's been her dream for her whole life, and gets upset that she isn't there for her when she needs her. Yet when one of her other friends needs her she blows him off because she has another case. I don't know why so many people are "friends" with her and help her out when she does jack for them unless it starts interfering with her and what she's doing.

Great story

The story and narrator are great, but Donna is pretty self entitled. If someone doesn't agree with her opinion she gets ticked off with them for having a different opinion and it's OK if she says rude things but if someone else does then she gets mad at them. Like she tells everyone that her husband was in the Mob, but when someone (not her) brings it up, she gets mad that they said he was in the mob. Hopefully she gets less full of herself in future books.

I couldn't finish it

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. My honest review is that I couldn't finish the book. The girl is basically an 18 year old female Tarzan. She doesn't know the basics about anything and is taken advantage of sexually because she doesn't really know what's happening. Not to mention she's never done most things most people have even people who are hermits...like brush their teeth and hair or use soap to bathe in the swamps of Fl. I just can't imagine how bad she and her breath must smell and look like after 18 years of neglect. Just the thought of it grosses me out. Anyway, I couldn't finish this book because she is not just naive she's pretty much a dunce who somehow knows how to read and talk but that's about it.

Cheater

If you are ok with the main character being a backstabbing cheater then this book is for you. But if you're like me and can't stand cheaters then this book will tick you off so bad like it did me. She gives excuses like all cheaters do for why she does it but she still cheats. And she doesn't even feel guilty about it, in fact she refers to her relationship as play acting. She doesn't even tell Adrian about her cheating after it happens because she still needs to use him for something. I used to really love Rose as a character but this book made me hate her so much.
Other than the cheating this book was just OK. It wasn't as good as the others in the series. The beginning is good but then it starts lagging until the end. The musical sound effects were good and the narrator was great, but parts of the book need to be tossed and rewritten IMO.

Pretty good

The narrator did a great job. The plot of the story was pretty good. However, the main character acts like what happens is all her sires fault and none of it her own decisions/actions. I don't like that she doesn't really own up to her own mistakes.

Tear Jerker

This book is a tear jerker for sure. I hated part of the ending, but it was still a really good book that ended with an HEA. Have tissues at the ready when you read/listen to this book.

Loved it!

I absolutely lived this book. It had the same quirky heroine as the first book, more exciting adventures, new monsters, and more assinstion attempts. I can't wait to listen to the third book in the series to find out what happens next.
