Revisado: 03-27-25
idk how you make a prequel where we all know the end so gut wrenching, but damn.
reader is good, wayyy better than the one for Ballad. This guy did a great job and has great variety in the voices for the characters

Historia
It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the 10th annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to out charm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He’s been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low.

story is great, reader is horrendous
Revisado: 01-21-24
I love this story. Suzanne Collins is a genius.
but this reader is awful. I almost gave up on the book several times because of it. get ready for a book full of songs all being delivered in the same cadence and awful intonation

reader does the accents great
Revisado: 01-21-24
there's a lot of accents in this book and the reader does great with them, he reads dialogue like you'd actually hear it in a movie. this was my favorite book as a teenager, and it still holds up!
