The first book was good, but OMG now it's gotten soooo good! I'm hooked & don't have time for a long review lol 🤣 I'm diving into the next book! But I just wanted to say, I most definitely recommend checking this one out!

I went into these books completely blind, I didn't read a blurb, check reviews, NOTHING! And let me just say, sheesh 🙄 This series has continued to keep me on the edge of my seat, guessing what is going to happen next. Is it a RH or isn't it ? WHAT is Brexley? WHAT has caused this connection between her and so many? I still have no freaking clue but I'm diving into the next book to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND SO FAR!

Was a bit too slow and too... I'm not sure honestly just felt like something was missing. It took no time at all for this book to go from bully to dang near love @ first sight which I found odd. But besides that... 😐 idk. Since this is a duet I'm going to come back to this review once I'm done the 2nd book because I'm hoping that whatever I felt was missing is found in book two & maybe that'll bring everything together but right now I'm not so sure.

IDK if it's because I've read the beginning of the series as well & I'm INVESTED in this town & it's occupants or what but sheesh. Yeah this was a good, sweet romance read.

Narrators did an excellent job, the story... there was something missing for me. Things just happened very quickly but I don't think that was the book to be honest, I've been reading series lately so maybe it's just me getting back into the swing of standalones ? But yeah, although there are some triggers to me this was a sweet, small town romance. plus that little girl... she's a riot & made this whole book MORE.
