Good Police procedural with a twist . I enjoyed this audio book and will look for more from Austin S. Camacho . There are lots of characters , Male, Female and accented, That said, Allan Callaway did a good job delineating each.

Kelsey Grammer, ... Who Knew?

OK, just finished Bitter Brew. I finished it in a single sitting. This book was expertly narrated by the author and the story was so engaging. It was well worth my time and the credit spent. My only regret is that it is so new. I wish that there was a whole series of Mr. Grammer's novels presented by Him-self that I could enjoy.

Dark... Violent ...

OK. look if you are looking for hearts and flowers here,... well lets just say that you took a wrong turn. This work has non stop action and violence in the extreme, people at their very worst. It was very hard to like ANY of these characters but I certainly could empathize and identify with them. If this is an accurate representation of post EMP life, might I suggest just opening a bottle of wine (and a vein) now.

Teagan Kearney, thanks for a fine Sci Fi experience with an open end and promise for more. I thoroughly enjoyed this one from the first paragraph to the tantalizing ending. I am sure (if this work is an indication) that the next book in the series will be credit worthy.

Natasha Stories has penned a good representation of the genre but..... Look, a narrator can make or break an audio book experience. Guillaume Dubois used (as far as i could tell ), all of the considerable vocal tools in his repertoire but I could not help but think that this particular work would have been better served by a female reader. Sexist I know but there it is. Still, all in all, a pleasant audio book experience

Perfect for the commute

each of Eric Leckey's stories serve up a perfect slice of 30's and 40's Noir genre just long enough to last my commute to work. Bill Nevitt does a fine job in adding the right audio window dressing. I really enjoyed these stories and will look for more from Mr Leckey's pen.
