Would you try another book from Colette Baron-Reid and/or Colette Baron-Reid?

No, her approach to weight loss was hinky and ridiculous.

Has Weight Loss for People Who Feel Too Much turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not completely.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was the least of the books problems.

What character would you cut from Weight Loss for People Who Feel Too Much?

The author.

Any additional comments?

I waded through about 2 chapters and just stopped. It was just silly.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you like true crime, this book will bore the heck out of you for the first couple hours. Too much useless info through the first half of the book. Gets a little better towards the end.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Another true crime or possibly American classic.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Lorna Raver?

I did not think her interpretation of the main character and others rang true.

Was The Boston Stranglers worth the listening time?

No. There were a few redeeming chapters during the last half, but for the most part was not worth it.

Any additional comments?

When a book is too easy to put down, I know it's not that great of a book.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend it to someone new to true crime books. If you're into true crime, you will already have read the books on these cases and find the book so-so. Parker is a good writer so I many pick up other books by him now that I know that.

If you’ve listened to books by RJ Parker before, how does this one compare?

This is a first and I like his writing style. I'm definately going to read more of his books.

What three words best describe David Gilmore’s performance?

He's ok, but not excellent.

Do you think Top Cases of The FBI (American Criminal History) needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Only if he gets fresh cases that true crime buffs wouldn't have read about already.

Any additional comments?

If you are new to true crime reading, you should check out this book. It will make you want to read more about the cases he talks about.
