Terrible narrator

I haven’t even finished this trilogy and I find myself waiting for the next mispronunciation. She doesn’t seem able to pronounce any words over two syllables. Sometimes even those are too much for her!
I have read some of the other reviews and I agree that her cadence and characterizations are way off also.
So I will check all my other books to make sure that V. Passmore is not narrating.

Good story, but grammar was bad.

I liked the story line, but I had a hard time getting around the bad grammar. She used objective pronouns when she should have used subjective pronouns. For example, she said, “Me and Molly and Aunt Cass went …” instead of “Molly and Aunt Cass and I went…”
She also used “hung” instead of “hanged” when referring to people at the end of a rope. People are hanged, everything else is hung.
It was really distracting for me.
Other than that I enjoyed the books.

Problems with French

I love this book as I love them all, but the narrator had a hard time with the French and the French accents. I don’t think it interfered with my enjoyment.
