Historia
Zack Lightman has never much cared for reality. He vastly prefers the countless science-fiction movies, books, and videogames he's spent his life consuming. And too often, he catches himself wishing that some fantastic, impossible, world-altering event could arrive to whisk him off on a grand spacefaring adventure.

Great Adventure
Revisado: 07-20-15
The story has a lot of heart and will certainly make you feel for the protagonist. While it's no Ready Player One, I feel that it stands alone on its own merit and does so quite well.

Historia
What happens when a bunch of 30-year-old degenerates survive an apocalyptic zombie outbreak? They get into even more trouble in the aftermath. Duh. That's right, Charlie Campbell and several of his loser friends have escaped a nightmare Chicago fraught with zombies and an occupying army, only to find the wild-lands beyond aren't any safer.

Enjoyable and goofy
Revisado: 07-15-15
A good continuation to an amusing story. The narration was great and the plot maintained its tempo without any dull spots. If you're looking for something that will give you a few chuckles then this is the book for you. (Assuming you read the first one...)

Historia
Charlie Campbell was your average, balding, thirty-year-old alcoholic with a dead-end job and a penchant for shambling through life one mistake after another. However, none of that mattered following the sudden arrival of a mysterious sickness that brought with it infected mobs of zombie-like creatures thirsting for the flesh of the living. Trapped in a Chicago apartment the morning after a raucous bachelor party, Charlie and his old fraternity buddies must battle for survival against the cannibalistic horde, a military invasion and their own rampant stupidity.

Who knew that beers and zombies went together
Revisado: 07-14-15
An amusing story that seems like the more plausible outcome for what would happen to a bunch of dudes on the eve of a zombie outbreak. I enjoyed the original story and the tempo moved along nicely.

Historia
Monsieur Perdu calls himself a literary apothecary. From his floating bookstore in a barge on the Seine, he prescribes novels for the hardships of life. Using his intuitive feel for the exact book a reader needs, Perdu mends broken hearts and souls. The only person he can't seem to heal through literature is himself; he's still haunted by heartbreak after his great love disappeared. She left him with only a letter, which he has never opened.

Historia
A scarlet tide of Rondian legions is flooding into the East, led by the Inquisition’s windships flying the Sacred Heart, the bright banner of the Church's darkest sons. They are slaughtering and pillaging their way across Antiopia in the name of Emperor Constant. But the emperor's greatest treasure, the Scytale of Corineus, has slipped through his fingers and his ruthless Inquisitors must scour two continents for the artefact, the source of all magical power.

A web perfectly woven
Revisado: 02-23-15
Hair continues the Moontide Quartet by continuing a wonderfully intricate and beautifully written tale of deceit, betrayal and greed. He breaths breath into each of his characters clearly allowing you to understand their drives and aims while exposing their flaws and shortcomings. This combined with Nick Podehl's masterful narration truly makes this an immersive and enjoyable experience.
