Cyberpunk action
Revisado: 02-04-25
Cyberpunk isn’t necessarily a go to genre for me, but when the author offered an audiobook review copy I decided to jump on it and I’m glad I did. First off, the narration was good, not great but good and it kept me engaged. The story starts off with a bang and keeps going at a breakneck pace. It’s engaging and fun. This book is for anyone who loves cyberpunk, crime, mystery (ish), or fast paced reads with short chapters. I will say, the short chapters were awesome. I’m a huge proponent for shorter chapters. This was a great debut novel! And I have to say, after this, I may need to check out more in the cyberpunk genre.

Fun Adventure
Revisado: 05-02-24
This was a great series with a twist. Alex Rogers gets put into a new, fantastical world and is thrust into an awesome adventure. The story was great and involved all great fantasy tropes. I’m just sad Travis wasn’t able to do the last book and that book 4 isn’t included in this omnibus.

Mind was melted!!!
Revisado: 11-16-23
This book hit me out of left field! I’ve never read a portal book and am relatively new to the Sci-fi genre. This book showed up on my radar when Andrew’s wizardly read’s recommended it on his channel. It was on my reading list but when I got the chance to listen to it, I jumped and I’m glad that I did. The character development was great! The way that characters of different species came together and formed a family of their own was amazing. The battle sequences weee very well written and the use of the portal hoppers was far beyond my expectations. T.A. Bruno does a marvelous job drawing you in and grabbing a hold of you with the characters and their paths through the book. I was thrown in some parts expecting one thing and getting another and it was refreshing to not know what’s going to happen. This definitely won’t be my last T.A. Bruno read! Also, the audiobook was flawlessly done! The narrator was phenomenal and his array of voices really gave the characters life and brought the book “off the pages” of you will. If you’re a fan of portal books, Sci-fi, or fantasy in general I definitely recommend this one!

Don’t sleep on this series!
Revisado: 03-15-23
This series was so many ups and downs I could not put it down. The political intrigue was top notch, the action and battles were very well written, and the whole premise was something I never would’ve thought of. As for this final book in the series, this book drew out so much emotion in me that I’ve never experienced in a book before. The narrator did an amazing job and hit all the voices right on the head. The ending was totally unexpected but I could totally see how it fit with the story as a whole. I actually didn’t know if I’d finish the book part way through because “something big” happens and I couldn’t deal with it but I pushed on nonetheless. So glad I finished this series and I recommend it to everyone I know that reads books! Can’t wait to see what Leo has for us next
