the book was very well done and a joy to read. but really Will, was all the sarcasm directed at us for the last line nessicary? it's like you enjoy poking your readers with a stick just to get a rise out of them.

a common hero

I love this story. the hero is not and never becomes this all powerful power house. he's just a good butler and that is amazing as he is surrounded by the rich, the corrupt and magical things beyond his scope.
It is definitely a book worth getting.

favorite heroine

this is one of my favorite female heroines. she is a bad as woman surrounded by bad asses. At no point did any of the points where she needed help diminish her or others. it only served to highlight how strong of odds she was up against rather than making her look weak she looked more capable. Just like Aaron Sinclair said in book one.

this fills a niche for me

i really enjoyed this book as i like making making things and a fantasy book about a crafter and the art of making things is on i have been looking for. while i think there could be more of that and less dungeon menu lists. i still loved the over all feel of this book.

seriously, you give us the next book in the series and end it like that! you cold evil little man. that was one of the biggest cliff hangars I have ever come across. the rest of the book was amazing. dont you dare yank our chain for the next year making us wait.
