Historia
This third and final volume of the unexpurgated diaries of Sir Henry 'Chips' Channon begins as the Second World War is turning in the Allies' favour. It ends with a prematurely aged Chips descending into poor health but still socially active and able to turn a pointed phrase about the political events that swirl around him and the great and the good with whom he mingles.

Tina Brown - Bravo!
Revisado: 05-15-22
I loved this. Tina provides a clarifying account of the Royal Family’s saga with empathy and honesty. I’ve loved Queen Elizabeth since we were both little girls during WWII. Tina’s snappy, to the point overview of family member’s personalities, dreams, challenges, motives and goals paints compassionate, understanding portraits of each.
If you, like me, are a long-time admirer of the British Royal Family and have been wondering if it can survive, this book will definitely relieve your fears to a great extent. Thank you, Tina Brown!
