I love everything she puts out. The way she organizes the topics and her delivery of content is spot on. Shes open and honest, never shying away from the real issues in life- many of which we have in common. She manages to make these things funny for a change and lighten the load. Not to mention her wit and perspective on so many random things that I otherwise wouldn’t have thought about at all- Samantha Irby works her magic, making the most mundane topic into a complete riot. Shes the best!

Not loving this one…

Comes off like Mindy is seeking validation and bragging at the same time. I wonder how this story would end if those she donated money to ($1000 to 38 different organizations, as she felt the need to point out) hadn’t responded to her such an appreciative manner? She said their response made her feel so good- NOT that donating to them all made her feel good. I thought her “good deed” was to try and prove to herself she is capable of giving graciously without the expectation they would convey to her how grateful they are. Big fail….

I hope you have more episodes coming soon… I love everything you and Charles do- yes, even the banter/arguing. I still laugh every time you say “Take that out!” And the way you present each story is always entertaining and keeps me locked in. Last but not least- the way Charles goes off on the scumbags that have done monstrous things to others- the fact that he doesn’t hold back- I love it. I say call it like it is. I’d rather hear the realness of these stories than be given an altered account that doesn’t do right by the victims and what they went through. PLEASE PUT OUT MORE EPISODES… And don’t change a thing. What can I say without giving anything away? Hmmm.... well, for starters, get yourself ready. You’re going to want to stretch before you press play. Make sure you stretch those neck muscles REALLY good too. Grab a bottled water. Actually, grab 3. Better safe than sorry. Adrenaline has been known to cause one to perspire... thus leading to dehydration if not prepared in advice to rehydrate in time. You don’t want to risk passing out before hearing the end, do you? Ok, then like I said, 3 bottles of water- all within reach. Now that you have stretched, stocked up on fluids and hopefully, already set yourself up in a location with NO distractions... grab onto your butts... cuz its about to get crazy. So many twists... flips and splits.... you’re going to be glad you stretched! Oh dang... splits. Ok hold up... let your butt go and stretch those ham hocks real quick too. Whew! That was close! Could’ve had a full on Charlie horse situation in the middle of real mind bender butt grabber of a story! And like I said... NO distractions. You’re not gonna want to miss a thing....😳😬🥺🤨🤫😂🥴🥸🤬😥😮😮😮- this is a slide show of my many reactions throughout the story.

Siri also narrates for Audible?! Dont quit your day job Siri....

If it weren’t for the other characters, I would have lost my s**t listening to the character called Sarah. 95% of the time she speaks in a rhythm identical to Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall... Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.... All the Kings... you get the point. And the tone of the characters voice is literally Siri from my iPhone. I can barely stand listening to her give me directions... let alone narrate an entire book lasting hours....?! Kill me. Once in a while the monotone Humpty Dumpty rhythm would die off a bit and it would be like... idk... sweet relief? Like the heavens opened up and had mercy on my ears. Just in time too... cuz I felt like my ears were just short of ripping themselves from the sides of my head and making a run for it.
Literally EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME. And this is my FIRST time leaving a review... my hope is the person who did this character may actually see this or at least hear about it and I will have a chance to say... for the love of god... please kill that character off, or voice you developed for narration... whatever it is.... kill it. Bury it in an unmarked grave so no one will ever find it... and most importantly... STOP COMBINING RHYTHM WITH NARRATION. Its the absolute worst thing for a person to have to listen to and ENDURE for HOURS. I may never recover.....
