I give credit to any author who is able to write and publish a book, but this book lacked all credibility. The characters are one dimensional superheroes who depend on too many lucky breaks to survive their enemies. Two Americans defeat North Korean villains in North Korea. Poorly written narrative and characters with an implausible story line.

This series has kept me wanting more, but the sixth book in the series was full of unnecessary war talk. How many books do you need to tell this story? I sincerely hope book seven will be the last book in the series.

Tho possibilities explored in this book are scary. I have never read a book where America is the vulnerable underdog. The story line is topical of today’s news stories, written in a manner that makes me have to continue to remind myself that I am reading a book. I just finished volume two, time to download volume 3.

I enjoy reading military and espionage books, but all the characters in most of the books I read are described as beautiful, handsome, blonde haired, blue eyed people. I like that this book has men and women performing feats of heroism, and they just provide the names of the characters. I couldn’t put the book down, because the scenarios in the book are believable and horrifying. I already purchased the next book.

I love reading about Jack Ryan, and The Campus, but am always a little sad that non of the major characters are black. I got excited when The Campus decided to expand, but am disappointed that only white people are invited to join. Can you really imagine President Jack Ryan not having one black person in his Cabinet? This is the 21st Century, but these characters are pre 20th Century. You can do better.

I purchased this book, because of the good reviews, and playing time, but am disappointed by the content, and narration. The first narrator speaks too fast, and without inflection. The second narrators voice in shrill, and spoken in the manner of someone reading a second language for the first time. The content of the book is long winded, pedantic, and repetitive. Chapter 7’s topic is Exercises, 10 minutes into the chapter the author is still droning on about how to use the exercises. This is the worst book I have ever read. I will never buy another book without first listening to a sample of the narration.
