I think the story line overall is interesting but this book moved slow with no action. The majority of the book took place in one house. I would have skipped to the next book to save money. Personal opinion.

The Story Moves pretty slowly

I just finished chapter 40 and there are 20 more to go. The plot seems interesting but there is so much to build up, so many characters that it’s taking a while to get to the “meat” of it. I’m going to pick back up another day.

The third part of Alveria Dragon Akademy

A little bit less revolving around the Akademy. Same concept as the others “girl meets dragon and the bond” but I am hurting my brain trying to figure out where down the line this crown prince is from previous books. Is his dad the child of one of the children in previous books? Is this a couple generations later? If someone knows, tell me! Lol. This narrator is not (to me) as good as the one for other books. It’s too easy for me to space off when listening to her and I have to repeat the chapter or section because I wasn’t paying attention. I wish this came in a box set like the others too. That would be awesome!

I enjoyed it a lot

I enjoyed this book a lot. While being a supernatural book, there wasn’t a lot of what normally goes along with them like vamps biting, wolves shifting, mates and what not. Surprise twist at the end was also pretty fun!

It kept my attention throughout

I’ll try not to give away too much. I enjoy the story line, characters and liked that it was a whole lot of books for the price of one. I did think the main character was a little too snarky/ sarcastic and sometimes condescending but maybe that was the point. When the story moved past the first book, there were some things or scenes mentioned like it was supposed to be a recap but I didn’t remember it happening in the previous book(s). I thought maybe I fell asleep and missed a part but it happened in subsequent books so I was a little confused at times. Overall, I did enjoy it and would recommend.

Good start to the series

Overall, I enjoyed the story. I think the series will be good. It started off a bit sad and pitiful with the lead’s life but it got better. The latter part of the book explained why it was so pitiful sounding. I’d recommend it.

Possible Spoiler Alert:
The book was okay and entertaining enough but I felt that it kind of drug on after the “fall out” with the first mate. Almost like the rest of the 2 or so hours of the story were just about someone’s life and their relationship squabble.

It was enjoyable

I enjoyed the book for the most part. There was a lot of weird noises the author had to “make” that were getting annoying like “clink, clink, clink” clump, clump, clump” “tap, tap, tap” etc. so many times. I’m sure there were other ways the author could have conveyed those sounds/images.

Didn’t end as expected

Based on the summary, I was expecting a different ending. Or at least some answers to the questions in the summary. It was an okay ending though. A HEA.
