I love when a book makes me want to go and do research after reading it. This book was such a captivating story captivating story of Bell da Costa green /Bell Marion Greener I found myself at different points stopping to learn more about certain historical facts which which made me love this book even more.

This audiobook was absolutely amazing. The level of detail, description and audio input placed within this story was absolutely phenomenal. Will is a great storyteller and took us on a journey of self discovery and self introspection that I found to be riveting.

I absolutely love Elizabeth asevedo's books. I'm a poet at heart so the way she writes and recites the stories really speaks to me. She has a way of bringing to life a story in such a clear way that almost makes you see what she is saying.

Resonating woman power in gold and strength

Absolutely loved this Story!

The gilded ones or Alaki represent sooo much! Their ability to rise above their past trials, tribulations, lies and unimaginable injustice is beyond inspiring. The fact that this book glows and elevates woman power won me over from the start! This was an truly enjoyable read... Right up there with children of blood and bone. But with a far more palatable outcome!!!

4/5 only because there are some elements of her training that are made known in the end that I would have loved hearing about otherwise its a 5. Plus i need to know that their is a sequel!

A Phenomenal Read

This book was absolutely wonderful president Obama has an amazing ability to tell a captivating story. His recounting of his 1st term as president had me spellbound. His ability to dive into his thought processes it really break down his decision making process for his cabinet choices as well as major decisions That helped to shape his presidency is absolutely wonderful.

I greatly enjoyed this story! Casting the Biafran war in what feels like a futuristic wakanda was brilliant. The dynamics of family, loss, war and struggle for innovation and resources were quite moving. I recommend this book.

Great Story!

This was an absolutely amazing and captivating story. Although I absolutely enjoyed it there were certain parts of the story that seemed to be kind of left out. There weew key elements of the story that should have been elaborated on to provide a more detailed back story.

Over all I rate this as a 4. The narrator was absolutely spectacular and the over all imagery of the story was really beautiful.
