Historia
In a Legion gone lax, Colonel Bill Booly, with his mixed blood and by-the-book attitude, is a misfit. So when he steps on some important toes, his punishment is assignment to the worst post in the galaxy: Earth. But Booly and his troops will turn out to be Earth's best line of defense, when a Legion-led military coup topples the government. It's Legionnaire against Legionnaire in a struggle that will be won by strength and courage.

Decent but not to the level of the first 2 parts
Revisado: 04-05-10
While it is a good book and I did enjoy it, there is some lacking. Its a little drawn out in parts and not nearly enough battles, its much more political than the previous 2 parts. A good read still and necessary to understand subsequent parts.

Great follow-up to Book 1
Revisado: 03-22-10
Another great listen. It kept me interested entirely. While it also follows the same rhythm as the first book which might be confusing for some it does have a good flow and touches on everything that makes great military science ficition.

Really good.
Revisado: 03-22-10
This is a great listen, very well thought out and very enthusiastically read. While it is a little confusing at first with how it jumps around from place to place you will get the rhythm and love it. Ive search for mlitary science fiction and rarely find anything that makes me want to list to the entire series and this fit the bill.

Historia
The planet is called Banshee. The air is unbreathable, the water poisonous. It is the home of the most implacable enemies that humanity, in all its interstellar expansion, has ever encountered. Felix is a scout in A-team Two. Highly competent, he is the sole survivor of mission after mission. Yet he is a man consumed by fear and hatred.

Not bad, but not great
Revisado: 01-04-10
This book is broken into 4 parts. Part 1 & 4 revolve around one central character while parts 2 & 3 revolve around a COMPLETELY different character. The only link between the parts is a real stretch and by no means should this book be considered as a complete work, more like a story that needed to be stretched out and the author didnt have any better ideas.
Parts 1 & 4 are great and kept me interested while Parts 2 & 3 sucked. The storytelling is at two completely different levels, the first being military scifi and the other being crap.
There is simply no reason for the entire middle section and it is shameful that it exists in an otherwise decent book.
