Historia
As a once happily married woman, Rebecca Parker lived a charmed life, but now widowed and working for a living, she feels alone and lives a mundane existence. That is until the day a valet speeding by on a horse nearly runs her off the road. Mr. Malcolm Henry is apologetic, gentle, and very handsome. She’s instantly drawn to him, which is why, rather than stopping him from kissing her, she finds herself kissing him back, reigniting a nearly forgotten passion in her. But love at first sight only happens in fairy tales—never to an ordinary woman like her.

Historia
It’s rumoured that Dickens wanted to return to his classic novel Oliver Twist, to bring him back into a later book as an older character, but he never managed this before he died. However, if Oliver had returned, what would he have been like? Would the scars of his childhood affect the man he would become? And what of ‘Dodger’, sent to a land halfway around the world, his friend, mentor and master dead because of Oliver? Dodge & Twist is that story. The tale of two boys, 12 years later, returning into each other’s lives - for both good and bad.

Revisado: 08-16-22
Every aspect of this book exceeded my expectations. The story remained true to the original characters and provided some very interesting, original, and entertaining plot twists. The voices were spot on. Each one bringing these characters to life with just the right accents and tone. Well done all the way around . . . Cheers!!

Double Whammy!!
Revisado: 03-23-22
This was my first full length novel by Sian Ann Bessey. I was a little worried when I learned the time period, but was quickly drawn in by the depth of the characters, a well crafted story, and attention. to descriptive detail. This was the first whammy.
Whammy #2 was a superb narration by Aubrey Warner. She put so much into her portrayal of each character and was integral to the flow of the story.
Thanks to both of these artists for time well spent and enjoyed so mucg!!

Historia
Charlie Jonquil is mild-mannered and kind — except when it comes to his one true adversary, Artemis Lancaster. Though Charlie has a brilliant mind for mathematics, Artemis poses a problem he can’t seem to comprehend: How can one be so lovely and so infuriating? A party in London brings him into the company of the maddening young lady, and it is clear that Charlie’s disdain is mutual. But when an unfortunate incident between the pair involving Charlie’s jacket and a glass of raspberry shrub leads to scandal, the sworn enemies are left with only two options.

James continues to deliver . . .
Revisado: 04-15-20
Being a lifelong fan, I was very interested in this autobiographical piece. I found it to be interesting, entertaining and theraputic. What a marvelous look into his life and the history of music during a time of change. I loved the insight behind some of his early iconic songs. I found his "lessons learned" approach to be very endearing. I admired that he felt no need to throw anyone under the bus. To me he continues to open his life and heart through sharing. The music included is sweet frosting on the cake. Thank you James . . .
