Marvelous and masterful
Revisado: 07-28-22
I totally enjoyed this book and I actually did not want it to end. Matt Tommy was amazing as his own narrator of the words he is written. It was inspiring and a book I will continue to refer to over the years. As an artist struggling to find her way in the world of art and creativity this book gave me direction as well as useful tools to help me to be successful. Additionally I love how he wrote through the concept of Building your faith and being closer in my walk with the Lord. Asking him to guide me and help me and to be in the present. I am now challenge to actually do this thanks to this book. Thank you Matt

What a wonderful book. Well acted and beautifully portrayed. I only hope it is all true else I have fallen in love and bonded with an imaginary woman and the Cheyenne. This was a fantastic book that I highly recommend.

Historia
On October 25, 2011, aid worker Jessica Buchanan was kidnapped at gunpoint and held for ransom by an organized band of Somali land pirates. For the next three months, Jessica was terrorized by more than two dozen gangsters. Every terrifying moment Jessica spent suffering in captivity was matched by that of her adoring husband working behind the scenes to deal with her captors. Finally, on January 25, 2012, President Barack Obama ordered a rescue operation by a team of 24 Navy SEALs. Impossible Odds is a harrowing and heart-wrenching memoir of Jessica's kidnapping, her three months in captivity, and her rescue by the Navy SEALs.

I heard Jessica tell her story during a conference in Austin, Texas. The 800 people in the room were spellbound! I then searched to hear her entire story thru Audible and was mesmerized. I praise God for how he watched over her. I highly recommend reading this true story!!

Amazing story!
Revisado: 04-10-17
I was so enthralled with this amazing book that I found myself listening to it in my car, late at night, trying to fall asleep, during the day, while I was paying bills, sitting at n the sun. I was consumed. This was a marvelous story. It should be a movie! I recommend it to everyone. I will also say that the acting and the voice and the changes of the different personalities and people were superb. Bravo!
