Historia
General Stonewall Jackson was like no one anyone had ever seen. In April of 1862 he was merely another Confederate general with only a single battle credential in an army fighting in what seemed to be a losing cause. By middle June he had engineered perhaps the greatest military campaign in American history and was one of the most famous men in the Western World. He had given the Confederate cause what it had recently lacked: hope.

The best historically accurate on our Hero
Revisado: 03-08-20
This is an incredible book about the honest quirks and behavior of one of our greatest American hero’s. But most importantly its fantastically written and chronologically correct. A true human who was born for the time of America in which he lived. Highly highly recommend

Historia
After winning the war for independence from Great Britain, the 13 adopted the Articles of Confederation as their system of government. However, the Articles proved to be ineffective, and only a few short years after gaining its independence, the young country was headed for fracture and failure. In the summer of 1787, 12 of the states (Rhode Island excepted) sent delegates to Philadelphia in a last-ditch effort to fix the Articles. But it soon became clear that the problems facing the young country were too great for the Articles of Confederation to address, even in an amended form. Thus, the delegates created a new Constitution.

Historia
In The Horse God Built, best-selling equestrian writer Lawrence Scanlan has written a tribute to an exceptional man that is also a backroads journey to a corner of the racing world rarely visited. As a young black man growing up in South Carolina, Eddie Sweat struggled at several occupations before settling on the job he was born for - groom to North America's finest racehorses. As Secretariat's groom, loyal friend, and protector, Eddie understood the horse far better than anyone else.

Revisado: 09-01-17
What a joy to read this great book. Not just about the greatest horse in history but the human side of the relationship that was between world champion Groomer and partner Edward Sweat I use the title because Eddie was steadfast in his dedication to his profession and his unwavering unconditional love for big red. The book also branches out with investigative finds and facts about other people in the sport Thank you for the excellent prospective in the way this is reported and written I am reminded throughout the book of what Jesus said "The last shall be first and the first shall be last " For all of us that can relate to Edward Sweat and his family, may God Bless you and may He remind us of how blessed we really are everyday
