Whole discussing ideas with a friend, he insisted that I read about Naval. I've always focused more on the technology than on the people aspect and a lot of what I've been learning and discussing with friends is exactly the kind of things Naval says. I believe this book has provided me some insights I haven't found on my own yet that are already being implemented into my life. Highly recommend.

Historia
They actually have vastly different styles and backgrounds. Yet despite their differences, great managers share one common trait: They don’t hesitate to break virtually every rule held sacred by conventional wisdom. They don’t believe that, with enough training, a person can achieve anything he sets his mind to. They don’t try to help people overcome their weaknesses. And, yes, they even play favorites. In this longtime management bestseller, Gallup presents the remarkable findings of its massive in-depth study of great managers.

Historia
Asked to name a great physicist, most people would mention Newton or Einstein, Feynman or Hawking. But ask a physicist and there’s no doubt that James Clerk Maxwell will be near the top of the list. Maxwell, an unassuming Victorian Scotsman, explained how we perceive color. He uncovered the way gases behave. And, most significantly, he transformed the way physics was undertaken in his explanation of the interaction of electricity and magnetism, revealing the nature of light and laying the groundwork for everything from Einstein’s special relativity to modern electronics.

I really enjoyed the format of the book with the demon speaking in the footnotes and the reader did an excellent job. Maxwell seems like he was a fascinating individual, and a brilliant one for sure. I think that the world may be very different today if it hadn't been for Maxwell.

What a wild life Richard Feynman lived. I don't think I've ever heard anyone explain anything quite like Feynman explains anything. He had some amazing adventures that most wouldn't even dream of. Highly recommend this and any other work from Feynman that you can get your hands on.
