Nicely done.
I was not expecting what book two brought. I love the progression of the family from earth. My favorite is the experiments the family does, using their earthly knowledge and their beliefs of fantasy worlds.
Boys get jumped- nope they know marital arts-
Family gets hurt- nope mom makes the words first healing potion.
I look forward to book 3.

Great Character Progression

I loved the bonds formed not only between PC but also the NPC. Character development is very well done. I really like the element of the story where the PC can come out of game play and interact in IRL.
overall very well done. I can't wait to see what book 5 has to offer.

Didn't See that coming

The first half of the book was excellent. Then jake gets sucked into the new world and I almost interest. Than all of a sudden I was back enthralled into the life of Jake. Wow!! I can't wait for book 2.

What A Twist

Not a completely unique back story, but the direction of the the in game world is fantastic. The MC is becoming way OP, in the first 2 days of in game life, but that's pretty standard. What has me chomping for more is the last 10 min. Not a twist I was expecting, but very excited to see where it goes.

To much Sex

Definitely not what I was expecting from a LITRPG. Sure there were a few elements of game-lit in there but at least a third of the story the MC was entered into graphic sexual interaction. Take out the majority of the sex and there might be a decent story in there. But maybe it's just not my taste.

Watch out Aleron Kong!!

So, I do have to agree with many that the first half of book 1 starts out slow, but by the end of book 1 and all the way to the end of book 4 this is a fantastic series. Story and plot line are excellent. Character development, even the NPCs, is awesome. I can not wait for book 5 to be released.
Very well done series so far.

Amazing!!!!

Like I've hear from others, book 1 starts out a bit slow. Book 4, on the other hand, is absolutely breathtaking. More than once my eyes watered from the pure emotion screaming from the narrator. I can not recommend this story enough. Book 5 can't come soon enough.

If you need a fantasy story to fill time between your next great read this is a good option. Especially since it is free with your audible membership. I will definitely check out the next few books to see if the story improves.

An Excellent start to a new series. Very well done MC progression. I'm sure he will become OP in the books to come, but it's refreshing to not see it right away.
I can't wait until book 2 is released.
