Lisa's Best Book!
Revisado: 06-03-15
Where does Every Fifteen Minutes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Every 15 Minutes is one of the best books I've listened to recently.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Every Fifteen Minutes?
Eric, rushing into HGH even though he was suspended, to care for his patients.
What does George Newbern bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He didn't know the pronounciation of the streets & towns mentioned in the story. I live here.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, when HGH suspended Eric without waiting till to find out the truth.
Also, at the end when Katlyn brought Hanna to see Eric!
Any additional comments?
Couldn't put this down, even listened through meals! Hope Lisa S. writes another great book soon!

The Best Cross by Patterson
Revisado: 07-12-14
Would you listen to Cross My Heart again? Why?
Absolutely, this story has many twists that kept me listening all day!
What did you like best about this story?
Patterson makes Cross come alive. Not just a character, but a man with feelings - I empathized with Alex; felt his sincere anguish! Forgot this was just a story.
Love Nana Mama who can treat the big man, Alex, like a child and get away with it.
Which scene was your favorite?
Gut wrenching scene when Alex realized his family is gone.
Any additional comments?
Thanks, James Patterson, I can't wait for the next book!!!

Molly Murphy is an Irish Woman to be reckoned with
Revisado: 04-30-14
What made the experience of listening to Bless the Bride the most enjoyable?
Molly gets herself into the most intriguing situations, but seems to come out unscathed. Really love Nicola Barber's Irish accent; it adds something special to the story.
What did you like best about this story?
The relationship between Molly and her friends - Syd & Gus is precious. They were truly best friends to Molly frequently supporting her with encouragement and good food.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was hard to stop listening, my life kept getting in the way. This is a book that can be listened to in one sitting (if you have the time) because it's hard to find a stopping point.
Any additional comments?
For some reason, I've gotten this series out of order, but it doesn't really matter to me because I really love Molly and her adventures.

Historia
When Dr. Mike Scanlon is called to serve as an army doctor in Afghanistan, he’s acutely aware of the dangers he’ll face and the hardships it will bring his wife, Chloe, and their newborn baby. And deep inside, he doesn’t think of himself as a hero, but a healer. However, in an ironic turn of events, as Mike operates on a wounded soldier in a war-torn country, Chloe dies at home in the suburbs, in an apparently freak household accident. Devastated, he returns home to bury her, only to discover that the life he left behind has fallen apart.

Scottoline - Best Ever
Revisado: 05-05-13
What did you love best about Don't Go?
Don't Go was not the story I expected. Scottoline kept me on the edge of my seat through most of the story. Usually it takes me several days to a wk to listen to a mystery; but this novel I could not put down.
A father's love for his wife and his daughter, then disappointment - I felt like crying many times during the story.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot seemed to change many times, you don't know what Isaac will have to endure next.
Have you listened to any of Jeremy Davidson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
don't remember readers
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

GG's voice changed with each character, so you knew immediately who was talking.

This is the first book by M C Beaton that I've read. The characters come to life and have a life outside of the plot, which is very intriging.
