Historia
New York Times best-selling author Patrick Lencioni has written a dozen books that focus on how leaders can build teams and lead organizations. In The Motive, he shifts his attention toward helping them understand the importance of why they're leading in the first place. Lencioni thrusts his listeners into a day-long conversation between rival CEOs. Shay Davis is the CEO of Golden Gate Alarm, who, after just a year in his role, is beginning to worry about his job and is desperate to figure out how to turn things around.

Best for Locals & Internationals' understanding of Apartheid, Gender Based Violence and Alcohol Abuse in South Africa
Revisado: 03-27-24
The title narrates South Africa's Apartheid history succinctly in a humorous way, easy to relate to as South African and to appreciate the reality of what Apartheid impact has been and continues to be in RSA.
It highlights the scourge of GBV in South Africa, which everyone can relate as they know someone who's been thru the same experience.
But more so, the problem we don't talk enough about, is ALCOHOL ABUSE. This is the one thing that is killing our nation in RSA. THE ROOT OF ALL THE ILLS OF THE SOCIETY IN RSA, IS ALCOHOL. CHAMPIONED BY SAB.
THIS IS A TRUE TYPICAL STORY OF SOUTH ARFRICA. EVERY BLACK CHILD CAN FULLY RELATE TO IT FROM ALL CLASSES OF SOCIETY.
Well written and an easy enjoyable read.

Historia
In this vital work, author Michael Levine offers compelling evidence that problems in business, large and small, typically stem from inattention to tiny details. Social psychologists and criminologists agree that if a window in a building is broken and left unrepaired, soon thereafter the rest of the windows will be broken - and the perception will build that crime in that neighborhood is out of control. The same principle applies to business.

Marriage saving book at any stage
Revisado: 04-21-20
I'm glad to have come across this book and to read it in details. It can relate to any married couple and is sure to improve your relations nomatter what state they're in. I'll buy it for my friends and it'll from now be the wedding gift I give to newly weds.
Personally, I'm yet gonna take an assessment to establish my primary love language and that of my spouse, but I've already gained insight about how we have been behaving towards each other at time. To think that I might have assumed my wife's love language incorrectly all these years says a lot, but we'll find out together.
Thanks for the book, and yeah it's a definite must read, anyone who does premarital counseling or couples counseling, needs to read and recommend this book.
Lastly, I'm now keen to read the kids version. I believe it'll have a great impact to our children's upbringing.

Historia
As Scott Galloway puts it, by the time you hit your mid-20s sh*t gets real. Life becomes stressful. Even the smart, the hardworking and the elite can feel lost in a chaotic, noisy and unpredictable world. As a professor at New York University's Stern School of Business, the debate in Galloway's MBA class often veers away from business strategy to the challenging issue of life strategies. Which is why Galloway, in his signature take-no-prisoners style, has developed a dynamic formula for a life well lived.

Long and Educational throughout
Revisado: 08-18-19
These lectures were very educational and everyone of them was relevant. Of all 24 of them teach something that can be applied in real life situations. I'll be revisiting them to refresh atleast once a year at minimum.
Everyone would benefit on these lectures, whether young or old, working or not. In a relationship or not, even for family conflicts that arise from time to time, it's all here. To top it all, the lectures deal with cultural and moral conflicts. I bet no one would read or listen to these and find less than 60% of useful content at minimum. Nomatter, how much of a critic you may be.
Highly recommended!!

Intriguing, Educational and Inspiring
Revisado: 07-20-19
The book is very very long, but it's interesting in such a way that one cannot stop reading it. There's basic lessons for everyday life, from what inspired different revolutions, be it agricultural or industrial, to the difference between wealth, capitalism and socialism.
The author explains what is deemed to be 'happiness' in simple but truthful way.
So if you're interested in the history of mankind, or just interested in specific topics such as revolution, etc. This book might have some surprising answers for you.

There's some real good tips
Revisado: 05-19-19
I thought I won't enjoy it, but I sort of did because of some interesting reminders.
But there's sections I couldn't relate to and found them femenine, like imagining having dinner with your super star. Well for positive thinking maybe it'll help but not the way it's described in the book.
Its worth reading, but not top of the list. I was glad that it's only about 5 hrs.

Long Read But Informative
Revisado: 05-01-19
It was interesting to read about different energy sources and to gain insight in what shapes the world.
The lectures are divided nicely for one to follow or choose a specific topic to refresh or learn about.
I work in a coal fired power station but gain valuable knowledge about some aspects of energy from fossils and other options.
I'll recommend it to anyone interested in energy supply and strategies or even for research purposes as a starting poibt.
Good read overall.
