Love this genre of books. Ran thin on all the Reacher, Widow, Rapp, Tir One … etc.. so i thought i’d give this a try… however, the narrator Kyle felt rushed and more reading to you vs performing the book. Maybe i will pick the series back up when it changes narrators…

Its one of those books.. well lets be clear…the way this book is performed it’s theatre of the mind! As I was saying…. Its one of those books where you cant wait to see what happens but are overwhelmingly sad that is over when you get there. Please hurry and publish the next adventure! This meat sack monkey will be eagerly waiting!!!!

Great Story to fill the gap while waiting for a new Nightlord. However get use to a total fickle young girl who cant make a decision, at every point she boast her skill.. she seemingly has no idea how to use it and outwardly postures this WOKE perception however has no awareness that her actions ruin countless lives yet she believes her indecisiveness had no play…
Great job on triggering my emotion’s and making me talk out loud at the book.. not sure i am in love with this style of Character but i liked the story. I think i prefer her dads adventures…

Found the story hard to follow and the narration simply felt like someone reading a book to you .. Whereas the books I gravitate to the narrator embodies the characters and creates a mental visual (theater of the mind) experience. I just couldn't get there with this one... Maybe i am missing out but I am bailing out pretty early into this one... C..ya

Loved this book! Sean Runnette brings Eric to life (as well as Mike Talbot) i absolutely enjoy it with Garon and Mark get together and allow the two characters interact. However, the ever present tinge of the “Woke” Febi insisting nobody gets hurt was taxing. It felt Eric was castrated by his daughter and celestial twin in this book. Please bring back the bad ass Nightlord in your next book.

Enjoyed the story however lately I have become a power user of Audible and am now spoiled by a few narrators who seemingly become the characters of the book and bring it to life. I describe it as if there is a movie playing in my head as i listen. The narrator of this book seemed to struggle between committing to characters and simply reading the book.
I was about to bounce from this series... Then noticed you brought Kevin in for the next one... He is one of my fav's so now i have to check out the next story in the series.

Mark, Garon and Sean... You fellas are some of the best entertainment available. I can completely forget what I was doing while you gents are telling me a story in my earbuds! When Eric met Mike; it was like Christmas morning! I sure hope you have plans to bring them together again. However..Mark, Isn't Mike a Vampire? Why does he have Vampire abilities when he least needs them and when he is in the shit it seems he can be quite helpless? I suppose it amps up the story quite a bit when Mike appears to be vulnerable.. in this book it felt obvious his Vamp status was being deliberately left out to boost up the danger factor for Mike. Non the less... Your books are my favorite and I wait excitedly to buy your next.
Thank you for the great book and for Sean who makes me believe.... You fellas are at the top of your game!

1st Book Evan is a Bad Ass, Highly Trained, Unstoppable Hero. Here in Book 2.. It seems he has barely any skills, he is easily bested at every turn and seems to give up right after a long drawn out dialog of being trained not to give up. I seem to somehow always find these types of books - Remarkable hero with unmatched skills.. Until book two where everyone seems to have the same skills and our hero gits his ass kicked at every turn.

Whats the point of a Nowhere Man if around every corner there is another orphan or bad guy with equal skills...?

I hope Evan gets it together or I'm going back to Jack Reacher!
