Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

R-rated yet childish
Revisado: 03-15-18
who in the world was this book written for?! Most of the time it sounded like a thirteen years old story, with a lot of ten year old descriptions, and then flip a switch and we hear curse words galore and glorification of masterbation. Then we get tons of 80's references for which 40-somethings would mostly relate. The author panders to liberal agenda like a propagandist reading their child a demented storybook. please tell me the world doesn't actually relate to this disturbing combination of twisted moral perversion, pathetic obsessiveness with pop culture trivia, and gross immaturity. I've never seen a book try so blatantly to corrupt kids by praising such strange fettishes. yech blech and barf!

Historia
Every schoolchild is taught the great turning points in American history, such as Gettysburg, Pearl Harbor, the Kennedy assassination, and 9/11. But other, equally significant events have altered our destiny without being understood---or even widely noticed. Acclaimed conservative historian Larry Schweikart now takes an in-depth look at seven such episodes and reveals the profound ways they have shaped America.

Dry
Revisado: 03-11-18
couldn't finish, boring and dry. I'm someone who loves history, but I guess I need it in more of a story than just names, places, and facts.
