The Department of Dragon Affairs sends Dr. Kiyana Barnes to Lochguard with a group of human women open to having dragon mates. She’s supposed to help them adjust to being around dragon-shifters while also observing how the clan works on a day-to-day basis. She most definitely isn’t supposed to notice how one look from a certain dragon man teacher sets her skin on fire, let alone ask him to kiss her in a weak moment, given her past.

I can't say enough about this series, I absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone I know. This book hasn't changed that opinion. I honestly think I the series gets better with every book. The story about Murhder has been a long time coming and and it is very well written . The Warden (J.R . Ward ) does it again.

Absolutely 100% loved this book!!! It was so good. It kinda helps that I favor the Scottish dragon shifters anyway. Especially Fin and Ara. Really shows the love that grows between family. Hope one day we can get a book on the kids that would be fun!!!!

I liked this book but I am unsure exactly what but it feels like something was missing. There was a lot of situations going on with any different people, building stories for upcoming books. Overall I liked this book and would still definitely recommend this to others
