ok, I don't know what is up with the narrator, or I it's supposed to play into the tone of the story, but I cannot continue listening to this. At least for now. her voice sounds like a must of snootiness and boredom. Maybe I'll give it another chance some other time, but for now I can't even make it past the first chapter. sigh...

I loved this series, and the ending of this book was a perfect conclusion. the factbthat Marcus was the one to (**SPOILER**) officiate the wedding was ancuteband pleasant surprise. Apollo's death and Josie and Seth naming their son Leon were both beautiful and heartbreaking + bittersweet.
the only thing that did throw me off about the narration was the sudden way Luke got an accent for the past two books. if they'd suddenly changed narrators, I'd kinda get it, but The Struggle was the third book or this series, and Justine for example, narrated the Covenant and Titan series for years, so what gives?

though I had my suspicions about Brighton being taken, knowing what that ass did to her was difficult to get through.
Other than that, holy shit that ending! Not the news that Bri is (*SPOULER*), cuz I kinda saw that one coming, but the fact that it ended like that!!!! Man, I really need to get my hands on The Queen like yesterday!!!!!!!

Brilliantly Beautiful

Jenn has done it again! This book was so well written that for those who are already familiar with the world of the Wardens, it's easy to jump back in without needing to recall every single detail from the original series. And it is a great way for readers new to this world to get familiar with everything without being bombarded with too much. Since this is the audiobook version I do have to add that the narrator's work was really good, and the character whose voice I liked best was Peanut. However, since I was already familiar with the characters from having read the Dark Elements, Roth and Layla's voices were my least favorite
Though my favorite moment has got to be the "Can you dlsee the stars?" scene. it was beautifully written and wonderfully narrated. Definitely a tear-jerker 😉
I loved this book and cannot wait until Rage and Ruin is out! 🤩🖤

Ever since White Hot Kiss I have been #TeamRoth but there were moments in SCT that made me doubt my loyaltt, cuz Zayne in this book? Wow. Deep down i knew there was a reason why Roth said and did what he did and when he finally came clean about it my heart went boom 💘❤️💔

Oh my Lord!

Nice and sweet, this story focuses on the romance and has little of the action we get on previous WDMC stories. Rather than action this book has more intrigue and an ending that will leave the audience screaming bloody murder and wanting to get started on the next chapter in the WDMC series.

Short n Sweet - n badass

story was overall good, with just the right amount of romance sexy and Badass. The female narrator though was different than with the other books in the series and the performance od Irish's dialogue was a bit underwhelming. Also, I was expecting to get more of the story told from his POV rather than just the epilogue. And there's also the fact that we got to know him as how he is now, but I was expecting to learn a bir more about Hus past... like how exactly he got thar scar, rather than just getting allusions to it weve gotten on the other books.
