Historia
In the most ambitious one-volume American history in decades, award-winning historian Jill Lepore offers a magisterial account of the origins and rise of a divided nation. In riveting prose, These Truths tells the story of America, beginning in 1492, to ask whether the course of events has proven the nation's founding truths or belied them.

Loved the Book, Some Audio Issues
Revisado: 02-26-20
Story was excellent, great unbiased (for the most part) history of the United States. The author did a fantastic job performing the book, the only issue I had was that I had to listen at a loud volume to hear the lows in the audio, but from time-to-time (typically while delivering emphasis from a quote) the highs were ear-piercingly loud. Could very possibly have been from listening at 1.25 speed. Made it a little annoying to listen to but didn't take away enough from the overall to lose any stars!

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Not bad overall and some interesting takeaways but
Revisado: 05-31-18
the author contradicts his own points in his writing multiple times throughout the book. Definitely of some value to read but take it with a grain of salt.

Good read with actionable information
Revisado: 09-23-15
Would you listen to The Sales Acceleration Formula again? Why?
The engineered approach the sales that is discussed in the book was applied to the writing of the book. In a sea of business books that are available out there, this can be a rarity. Often we have to spend half of the time listening to WHY we should do what the author is touting, rather than HOW. This book goes the other way and discusses a lot of the how, just beware that while the information is great and the book is well-written, it is absolutely a content marketing piece for HubSpot and even goes into specifics on choosing sales technology that is not surprisingly available for purchase from HubSpot.
