Historia
Dane is a former SEAL turned CEO. Oh, how I wish CEOs weren’t that irresistible. As a self-made woman who never used her daddy’s resources, I have a ton of pride. I would never risk my career by sleeping with my boss. I would never destroy my reputation by falling into bed with my dad’s best friend. Or so I thought. Yes, I did those exact things but that’s not even the worst part. I’ve got a bigger problem to deal with. Not one but two problems. I’m having his twins, and I’m effectively panicking. Am I about to lose my heart, my career, and my sanity all at once?

Male Lead is insulting to the SEALS, and the navy for that matter.
Revisado: 03-30-25
The story would have been a thousand times better if he'd just been a older man from a nepo family. There is NO way anyone in the Specials branches of the military wouldn't make themselves clear about hat they wanted and made a plan to make it happen.
I really wanted him to go that route. Over and over he says he doesn't want the job or the life his family wants him to have but dare not to upset "daddy and mommy" just no. at this point I'm team Ethan for the FL.
She at least goes after what she wants.

Great story!

As I listened it struck me that it felt really familiar in way. It reminded me of "Metor Garden" and "Boys Over Flowers" C- dramas, just add magic and change a few details and side characters.
That is in no way a knock on the Author. All Authors take inspiration from many different mediums, other stories and real life.

Historia
So, remember that whole 'send Montana to the capital—he's ready for prime time' plan? Yeah. That might've been a little bit hasty. Our hirsute hero really stepped in it. Like, is on the verge of losing his dukedom and everything he's worked for stepped in it. The only way out? A little-known technicality that stops Senate proceedings and sends Montana off on what's most likely an insurmountable quest. One where odds are good that he'll either die without a respawn or accidentally commit treason against the Empire.

As usual, it was a fantastic performance by Neil Helligers.
Montana's story in this book has quite a few twists I didn't see coming. I can not wait to see where those twists lead in the next Good Guys book.

Historia
Land-ho! Clyde and co. have finally—finally—made it to the City of Darkness. Which turns out to actually exist! One small problem though. Anyone and anything that sets foot on the island immediately disappears. Ceases to exist. Poof. To complete the quest, Clyde needs to figure out how to actually enter the city and steal the crown jewels . . . without getting stuck in the town forever. It's a foreboding, dark place (obviously), where corruption is rampant. And maybe worse: the game rules Clyde's gotten so good at bending to his will? They don't seem to apply.

Eric Ugland once again told a fantastic story building Clyde up for much more adventures to come. I can't wait for the next installment of The Bad Guy and Good guys series. I highly recommend listening.
Eric's writing and wit never disappoints and paired with Neil Helligers voice giving life to his characters makes the world come alive.

Up until now, Montana's journey really only went one direction: up. But now he's back at square one, stuck on top of a mountain with only the most basic gear to help get him back to Coggeshall. It's going to be a long walk. But not a boring one.

Fantastic continuation of Montana's story
Revisado: 02-23-22
Good times all around, as per usual with these series.
Humor, weird friends, maneuvers of the gods, vague notions of what Montana will be facing in the future if he could just grasp what he feels is the right direction.
Definitely worth the listen.

Historia
Montana Coggeshall is feeling the squeeze - and not just because of his new leather pants from the goddess Eona. His little safeholding in the ruthless world of Vuldranni is under siege. On both sides. At the front is Lord Caticorix, a grade-A Imperial flunkey if there ever was one. He's clearly ridiculous, but the army he brought with him might not be. Plus they're bent on blocking Coggeshall from getting any food or supplies from the outside world.

Never disappoints
Revisado: 02-21-22
I enjoy the view of life inside Cogshall. In this book you get to see how things on the inside are shaping up, including our MC. Montana begins to see how his skills need to be fine tuned, confirms that he is still trying to grasp the politics and maneuvers made by others and that he needs to be better... but you know, no clue how to do that.
This is one of my favorite series. As always Neil Hellegers delivers an amazing narration performance bringing Eric Ugland's story and characters to life.

When Montana first started playing in iNcarn8, his new game life, he just wanted to be one of the good guys for a change. But despite his impressive stats and incredible heroics, even his followers are just plain scared of him. Trouble keeps pouring down Montana, even in the remote, supposedly safe holding he's building into his dukedom.

10 out of 10
Revisado: 02-21-22
This one in the series never fails to make me proud of a fictional character. I adore Montana Cogshall.
I appreciate the peek into the state of the realm, the bit of the political maneuvers being made around him while he quite literally won't compromise his sense of what's right.
This book sets up for the future ride for Montana to begin to fail upwards on. Hope he puts more points into his already high Luck stat for what's to come.
Excellent listen. We'll done.

What do you do when the game resets around you? Just when Montana thought he had life in Vuldranni figured out, the rug is pulled out from under him. He's alone once again, but now he's in the crosshairs of the man who would be emperor, and a whole host of people are counting on Montana to provide a safe haven for them. Montana has one hope of actually completing his quest of forming a dukedom: he needs to bust Nikolai out of prison. A prison that no one has ever escaped from alive.

Montana's new life in Vuldranni, the medieval fantasy game world he lucked into, isn't quite the tranquil extended fishing trip he'd been hoping for. But you gotta admit, he's doing pretty well for himself. Now he's Montana Coggeshall, heir to a dukedom. If he can get his crew to Osterstadt and claim it in time.

Not to miss series
Revisado: 02-19-22
I can't begin to explain how these characters make me feel. I'll be listening, doing some mundane chore and get lost into the world of Vuldrani and the tale of Montana.
If you haven't yet decided on purchasing this series yet, I really hope you do and I hope it makes you laugh, think, cry and wonder.
Our world right now, is crappy. Let's be real here, we could all use a laugh and an experience in another world for awhile. I've listened to The Good Guys series and The Bad Guys series and I have yet to be bored or have my attention wander. For me, that's a big deal.
I highly recommend you take a chance. Dive into a unique world with fantastic characters, a well written story. Montana's inner monologs... an all around good time in his mind.
Neil Hellegers brings all the characters to life. He uses clever inflections that just top off Eric Uglands hard work.

Worth the wait
Revisado: 02-14-22
Fantastic story. The tone and inflection of all 3 stories are spot on.
Trent is learning how to use all that 'character building,' Cullen and the Infinite Worlds has been teaching over the last 2 books.
He meets new people, forges new friendships and begins to trust himself.
Meanwhile we, the readers learn a bit more about the Infinite World, intrigues and lore.
I truly enjoy and appreciate this series. It's difficult for me to find a series with fantastic World building, intresting characters that even though they have abilities and skills, they don't feel OP. The way the author has set up his story, feels believable and natural.
I can't wait for the next book.
