the story was good but the narrator made it less enjoyable. I had a hard time following the characters as she used the same voice for everyone.

Great Story that is Inspirational

The story starts out slow, then gains momentum. It is inspirational and provides a great message of forgiveness. the narrator did a great job with the voices for each character.

Good Book on Overcoming Challenges
Revisado: 02-05-18
This is a good book for anyone who faces challenges in life; which we all face from time to time. Kyle overcame so may challenges, facing them head on and never backing down from his goals.
I highly recommend this book in hard copy over audio. It was very hard to listen to this book due to the cadence of Troy Klein. He does not narrate in a easy flowing manner. He has long pauses in the middle of a sentence or thought, making it hard to follow the story. This book is only 5 hours in length and I would typically get through this in a day. However, I struggled to listen to it for more than a few minutes at a time.

Enjoyable Story
Revisado: 11-17-17
I enjoyed this book. It had a good mix of romance and mystery. Although the romance was predictable, the mystery of who was after Cilla kept me guessing until the end. The narration of the book was good, though I found it hard to hear some of the narration when Jennifer Van Dyck dropped the level of her voice at the end of sentences. She did a good job changing her voice for the different characters, making it easy to follow who was speaking throughout the story.

Lisa Jackson's novels of romance and suspense race up the best-seller charts. In Left to Die, the Pinewood County Sheriff 's Department is on the trail of a cold-blooded killer who acts as a savior to women stranded during terrible mountain snowstorms before stripping them of their dignity and leaving them to die, a victim of the elements. Good story bad performance
Revisado: 05-16-17
Would you listen to Left to Die again? Why?
I would not listen to Left to Die again. Although the story was good, the narrator was monotone. His voice did not change for each character so it made it hard to follow.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I enjoyed the plot of the story, though it did not keep me on the edge of my seat. I got the impression that the story was more about who was out to get Julian instead of who is the maniac stalking and killing the other women.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
As mentioned above, the narrator was monotone and didn't change his voice for the characters. This made it hard to enjoy the book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No moment in the book moved me.
Any additional comments?
The story ends without tying all the loose ends. This means I would have to purchase the next book in the series to find out what happens. I wish the narrator was different for the rest of the series, but I noticed that the same narrator reads the next few books. If I had time to sit and read the story I would purchase the rest of the books in the series, but that is not an option. I am an avid audio book listener, but these books will not be added to my list.

Loved this series
Revisado: 03-21-17
What made the experience of listening to Wrath the most enjoyable?
Kate Rudd did an exceptional job with this book. The pace was perfect. The change of voice for each character was minimal but it was enough to keep track of who was speaking. I loved the entire series and was very excited when this book was released. I listened to the book every free moment. I really wanted to know how the book ended about half-way through as it was so suspenseful. I am glad I listened to the book instead of reading it in hardcopy, as I would have flipped to the back of the book to see how it ended.
What did you like best about this story?
The story line was engaging and it helped me gain insight into the world of human trafficking.
