honestly, not great compared to the rest of the series, a lot of cop-out plot armor. taking the overpowered and adding wings, so-to-speak. wish there was something other than the same tired plot, but ended up mildly satisfying

Historia
Sam Ryder's life already sucks, and it's about to get worse when he's fired from his dead-end job as a programmer. He's about to head home to escape into his favorite RPG, Alien Civilization, when he's offered a thrill ride on a death machine by a gorgeous woman straight out of one of his games. Before Sam can say "WTF?", he's been whisked away to a dark world of monsters and goddesses, his body transformed from Outcast to Warrior, the second level on a ladder that may eventually carry him all the way to Demigod.

I gave it a fair shake, made it all the way to chapter 13, the tropes are too shallow, repetitive and low brow humorless. I thought it would get better and it didn't, but the narrator is pretty good

the end of you wish
Revisado: 10-21-22
The story has been building up, and honestly, i feel like it would be beating a dead horse at this point if I continue. I feel satisfied, the end is abrupt, its concise and wraps up most of the loose ends
I honestly don't think I could hold on to this series much longer as he only has one single goal and none of his original friends except for hoxian

Meanwhile, Huxian finds himself in his natural environment - a mountain crawling with powerful demons. To survive, he’ll need to eat or be eaten. It’s a good thing eating is what he does best. One man. One fox. One shared life. If one fails, so does the other.

VOICES are EVERYTHING
Revisado: 10-01-22
I love the story, I enjoy listening.
the issue I have with this particular narrator is his over-usage of nasal qualities when portraying young ladies and small children, it comes out as grating and unbearable. it's almost whiny in quality. my criticism would be irrelevant if it referred to one particular character, but there are SO MANY.
