Ghostwalkers Enjoy

I was pleased with the story and excited to have characters that are not Ghostwalkers be introduced. I’m thrilled that this book didn’t include massive kinky sex. Ms. Feehan is such a wonderful story teller that the characters have an interesting arc without needing to add additional sex to them. I have been worried that the stories would continue down a path that I’m not going to support so I was pleased with this story.

Savage’s Salvation

Going into this book I was afraid that it would be too graphic and difficult to enjoy. It was a pleasant surprise that Savage’s story was told with care. I really appreciated Ms. Feehan’s notice about the two books and that one would be tame while the other more detailed. I really like how the stories always involve all of the characters, giving depth and defining how each supports the others. Good read.

Oh to be a child again

The story is engaging and easy to follow along with a book. The fun the kids had makes me want to be a kid again. The children in the story have good values and I would rather my kids emulate their behavior.

Where’s The Warrior

I love Christine Feehan’s books. So much so, that I am on the pre-order months before it is even due to be out. The first three of the “Shadow” series were great, so great that I end up listening to one of them at work almost everyday. From reading chapter 1 I was really excited - I thought this book was going to be just as good. What a let down. I did not understand the lack of character background in Psycho man and as far as I could tell there was no secondary villains in the book. Guiseppi and son don’t count cause something is going on there. I hope she does make all her new books BSDM books because that is wasted paper space. Really wasted space - I don’t want to know that men are hurting women and that women meekly stand by and tell them to punish them more. Nope that is definitely not my cup of tea.

The narrator is marvelous! He reads so well and makes sense (no mumbling or speak strangely - too slow or too fast) and not using a funky dialect when they don’t speak the language.

When will the bloody thing end?

I love Christine Feehan’s books. She has a unique style and the characters are always so well developed that they jump off the pages. This book was one of her worst. It has taken me MONTHS to finish the book when I normally finish within a day or two. I never connected with the characters and the story was hopping all over the place bringing in characters from other books with no back story and no lead in. I was delighted when the book was finished and I could return it.

The Winning Hand

I have read this story so many times that the book fell apart. I love the characters and Nora Roberts storytelling. The narrator bothered me. When she just read the story it wasn't too bad but when she tried to interject accents (poorly done) it caused me to stop listening to the story and focus on the ridiculous voice.

Loving Evangeline

Love this story. Linda Howard writes such strong female characters that it is hard not to become enraptured with them. The narrator did an excellent job of giving each character their own life and breathing a depth into the story. One of my favorite stories.

Fools Rush In

Laugh out loud funny! I read the story several years ago when I was recovering from surgery and had to hold a pillow against my stomach from laughter. The narrator is excellent in bringing all that humor to the forefront and letting it shine. My heart feels lighter after this story!

Close to You

I love the narrator. He has an excellent voice and the various accents provide depth to the characters. I had a hard time completing the story - the characters are so full of trauma they hardly can catch their breath. I suppose it is the same in life but it feels much more traumatic when each event takes place over the span of a couple of chapters.

Someone to Believe In

Excellent narration. The story is well written with great characters that are easy to follow and full of their own life. The narration did not detract from the story which can happen in this case the narrator only enhanced the storyline with a rich deep voice.
