Disapointing and boring

First, the positives. Its an interesting idea for a story. The narrators are decent. Now, for the negatives. I honestly think a 16 year old wrote this. The heroine is embarrassingly immature. At 22 yrs old she acts like a teenager in high school. The plot is sloppy and not well developed. Even after the long drawn out story, nothing is resolved by the end. The new "world" the author attempts to develop makes zero sense and doesnt flow at all. The story is very verbose yet really says very little. I was very disapointed!

Gracie is an idiot

Jamie isnt that smart but Gracie is the stupidist heroine Ive ever met. I generally love this authors books but this one was disappointing. Not worth the credit unless you enjoy being pissed off throughout a book.

What an awful story. I was so disappointed by the betrayal, hate, and horror. Even Callum, the hero of the first book, betrayed them. After getting the heroine tortured and their baby aborted, Callum gets away without even an apology. The hero just shrugs it off and goes on saying "there'll be other bairns". No resolutions, tons of loose ends, and the narration was mediocre at best which added the last nail to the coffin.

Sex scenes abound

Fascinating story line and interesting plot developments. Good narration as well. I think there might have been a few too many hot, steamy sex scenes but then can you really have too many of those? 😜 I enjoyed the book. Very well done!

Horrible embarrassment of a novel

One of the worst stories I've read in a long time. Charity and Paul are both portrayed as idiots. Charity claims to be madly in love with Paul but cannot so much as attempt to try to put some faith in him or show him any respect whatsoever.

Paul grovels and begs forgiveness throughout while she stands around mutely letting him and his confidence be destroyed by her family, his family, her friends, etc.

Apparently everything is Paul's fault regardless of whether or not he did anything wrong. Charity, however, can be a complete bitch, disloyal, rude, and downright mean and yet still is not responsible for her actions.

No matter what she does to him, however, he continues to come back for more. Very unrealistic in every way.

What a disgusting woman. What an embarrassing excuse for a man.

awful, boring, despicable hero, stupid heroine

One of the worst storylines with two of the most distasteful people I've read about as heroine/hero. The hero is a manipulative bastard and the heroine is a blithering idiot. The monotonous monologues giving you a look into what the heroine was thinking were yawn worthy. it's only saving grace is the poor narrator.

Hero is an ass throughout

one of the worst hero's I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. He was an asshole from day one and continued that way throughout the book. The heroine fell for him within chapters moaning at his every touch and unable to control herself around him. He, in turn, remained an arrogant ass and made no effort whatsoever to make amends. it was revolting. Narrator is good though.

Annoying heroine, boring sex scenes

The heroine was boring at best, Infuriating at worst. She was selfish and neurotic, assumed the worst about everybody, and was just generally a very frustrating person. Her boyfriend bent over backwards for her and she continually hurt his feelings and was disrespectful. The claim that he would love her is ludicrous. Most men would rate her crazy at a 10/10 and run the other way.
