Confused
Revisado: 04-08-25
I truly thought this would be magical. This was such a strange story, like I was missing pieces and chapters. I feel a huge chunk was not necessary but then if we wanted that included we had no end result of part of the story. I don’t even know what to say other sadly don’t waste your time reading this.

Historia
For the past two decades, Rocky has looked forward to her family’s yearly escape to Cape Cod. Their humble beach-town rental has been the site of sweet memories, sunny days, great meals, and messes of all kinds. This year’s vacation, with Rocky sandwiched between her half-grown kids and fully aging parents, promises to be just as delightful as summers past—except, perhaps, for Rocky’s hormonal bouts of rage and melancholy. Her body is changing—her life is, too. And then a chain of events sends Rocky into the past, reliving both the tenderness and sorrow of a handful of long-ago summers.

Boring
Revisado: 07-16-24
This book was boring. Nothing happened, no connections with characters, nothing to look back on and give you a feeling your chest, not a lesson to learn. Basically, just a daily log of a family vacation, with a lot of complaining!

Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

What a rush
Revisado: 11-15-23
The performance was amazing! I love her voices and energy she speaks with. This story is a rush, hitting hard at so many emotions. It’s the wildest fantasy book (series) I have ever read. I can’t fathom waiting for the remaining books to come out, but my goodness will I wait. Absolutely a must read for anyone and everyone.
