Historia
Thomas Jefferson’s letter of March 21, 1813, responds to John Adams’ skepticism about democracy and aristocracy. Enjoyable all the way around.
Revisado: 02-06-25
I was going to buy the book with the correspondence between these two, when I found this!
It’s very nice as well. I love the bullet point breakdown of each letter, great for those who are new to the writing style. Each podcast is short and sweet. Thank you for reading them. And for the Thomas Jefferson fan club…it’s a MOST listen to.

The performance was really good. I would listen to her tell another story. I hate that you have to write 15 words minimum.

Historia
An American epic of science, politics, race, honor, high society, and the Mississippi River, Rising Tide tells the riveting and nearly forgotten story of the greatest natural disaster this country has ever known, the Mississippi flood of 1927. The river inundated the homes of nearly one million people, helped elect Huey Long governor and made Herbert Hoover president, drove hundreds of thousands of blacks north, and transformed American society and politics forever.
